Masks for moisturizing the face at home: why not only dry skin is needed

The less moisture, the faster the skin ages. Special cosmetics help to maintain optimal water balance.

Moisturizing face mask at home will eliminate roughness and smooth out irregularities, prevent the appearance of comedones and depressions.

The one who considers that moistening is necessary for extremely dry skin is mistaken. Nourishing and moisturizing face masks should not be used only when the skin tightens and peels.

Care should be constant, regardless of the type of skin, presented to you by nature.

  • Bold type. With such skin, the glands are prone to hyperproduction of fat. The lack of moisture for oily skin means a blockage of the ducts of the sebaceous glands, and hence the result – acne and ulcers, inflammation and acne. If you regularly treat a course of five to six moisturizing masks once every three months, you can significantly reduce the severity of skin problems.
  • Normal type. But for normal skin it is necessary to constantly replenish the water supply, so that there are no problems in the future. If this is not done, irritation and flaking will appear. Regular four to five masks once every two months will improve the condition of the skin and prolong youth.
  • Dry type. Moisturizing will help to cope with a number of problems typical of dry skin: a feeling of tightening and unpleasant tingling, peeling. To avoid this, it is enough to do 10-15 masks to moisturize the face at home with a monthly break.

It is believed that the components of the moisturizing mask should, firstly, contain a large amount of water, and secondly, create something like a film on the skin to keep moisture inside. Usually moisturizing face mask contains:

  • eggs;
  • fatty dairy and lactic products;
  • vegetable oil (any);
  • mayonnaise;
  • chocolate;
  • vegetables;
  • nuts;
  • fruits (non-acidic);
  • berries (in a small amount);
  • cosmetic oils (coconut, rosehip, almond);
  • essential oils (sandalwood, patchouli, myrrh);
  • medicinal herbs.

If you make a mask correctly, the result will be noticeable the first time. The skin will acquire a velvety, the effect of tightening will disappear, will be peeling. That is why the main task is to properly prepare and apply a home cosmetic product:

  • face steaming before the procedure;
  • use only natural products;
  • Heat oil and kefir in a water bath;
  • dilute the thick mask with milk or herbal decoction;
  • add flour to the liquid mixture;
  • always test the compositions on the wrist;
  • maintain the mixture for at least 15 minutes, but not more than half an hour;
  • Do not use hot water for washing.

Dry and aged skin requires the use of a mask twice a week. It is important to complete the full course:

  • for dry type – from ten to 15 procedures;
  • for normal and fat – no more than six sessions.

Between courses, be sure to take a break:

  • dry skin – one month;
  • the rest – from two to three months, depending on the state.

Home moisturizing face mask can be selected personally for yourself. For example, if you are allergic to any product, it is better not to even try to use the problematic ingredient.

But you can replace it with a similar action.

  • Aloe – one sheet.

  1. Hold the aloe leaf for ten days in a cool dark place.

  4. Grind lemon rind.
  5. To mix everything.
  6. Let it brew for a quarter of an hour.
  7. Add butter and stir.

  9. Wait until dry.
  10. Wash off with mineral water.

  • potatoes – two tubers;
  • sour cream – 100 g

  1. Boil two potatoes in a uniform.
  2. Cool it down.
  3. Clean up

  5. Add 100 g sour cream.

  8. Action time – 15 minutes.
  9. Rinse with cool water.

Well, when the moisturizing face mask at home gives a tangible result. But do not forget that the body must be fed from the inside.

Drink as much water as possible – at least one and a half liters per day.

Moisturizing masks work best when applied to a steamed face. When the pores expand, blood circulation improves and the mask components are absorbed better.

This was advised to me by one of my friends, she works as a beautician. To steam the face is very simple, you need to brew with one glass of boiling water 2 tbsp. l chamomile (in any pharmacy there), let it brew for 10-15 minutes, then moisten gauze folded in several layers in broth and put it on your face.

Moisturizing the face at home for me was just a panacea. Peeling was terrible.

Went to the doctors, and they said that everything is within the normal range and you just need to use moisturizers. But I just went broke on the creams.

I live in Kazakhstan and there is not very much money here, it is a little expensive to buy a good moisturizer, but homemade products are simply saved.

My favorite mask is with curd and milk, I make it every day, I am satisfied with the result, the skin is always smooth and silky.

Make masks from eggs, honey and gelatin. You will be 100% happy! I make such a mask at least once a month, and more often.

And in the remaining weeks I can do something more exotic for the sake of interest and pleasure. With banana anything, or avocado.

Another burdock oil is very helpful.

The mask of banana and sea buckthorn is an excellent moisturizer for the skin of women older than 30. My case!

I tried it, I liked it. Verdict – I will definitely make this mask, at least once a week.
