Flaxseed oil for hair: against loss and for intensive growth

Flax – oilseed, which is respected in many countries. Thanks to the plant, we have beautiful, natural clothes, as well as a natural source of health and beauty.

It’s about flax oil, which has healing and cosmetic properties. Especially appreciate the product for the ability to strengthen hair.

Interestingly, flaxseed oil for hair is used both externally and inside.

Not everyone knows about the true value of flaxseed oil. But this is a real treasure, which contains not only a rich vitamin complex (the entire line of vitamins B, as well as A, E and F), but also the most valuable unsaturated fatty acids – Omega-3 and Omega-6. Flax “juice” in this regard can compete with fish oil.

At the same time, the oil costs a penny (from 100 rubles per 200 ml), and brings benefits in a million.

This product is indispensable for immunity, as it can solve a number of women’s problems. For example, copes with pain in PMS, eliminates migraines, helps to lose weight.

The taste of this product is quite pleasant, although spicy, so in cooking (in cold dishes), sunflower oil is often replaced with linseed oil.

The use of flaxseed oil for hair is that this tool makes curls bright, fluffy, thick. Curls become alive and healthy, dandruff disappears.

And also – you will forget what stratified ends are. Flax “juice” is most appreciated during the cold season, when hair suffers from temperature changes.

The composition of the product includes essential nutrients for hair. Among them are folic acid, thiamine, choline, niacin. Together they are a real energy cocktail for hair.

What else is useful for hair flax oil, how it “works”?

  1. Eliminates split ends. Fatty acids stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which helps avoid stratification of hair. The effect persists even if you frequently use a hairdryer for styling or a straightener.
  2. “Treats” itching. Dandruff accompanies itching of the head, but thanks to vitamin B2 you will forget not only that you have seborrhea, but also that the head tends to itch.
  3. Interferes with emergence of a gray hair. Niacin has established itself as a fighter with bleaching hair that occurs during aging. Gray hair becomes less, in addition, they will not be so noticeable.
  4. Recovers after damage. Folic acid from the inside moisturizes every hair – it becomes stronger and copes well with external stimuli.
  5. Makes stronger. Choline is good for hair because it can strengthen fragile, diseased and dissected hair. The substance seems to “solder” them from the inside and outside.

Flaxseed oil for hair growth has many contraindications, so before you engage in the treatment of hair, you need to make sure that you do not make yourself worse. Oil, even as an external agent, is contraindicated in the following cases.

  • In childhood. As much as you would like to improve the appearance of your baby’s curls, if a child is less than five years old, then you should not use this mask. Children are often allergic to this product.
  • With hypertension. Flaxseed oil is absorbed by the body even through the skin, and since this substance can increase blood pressure, it is better to give it up if you have hypertension.
  • In parallel with taking sedatives. Flaxseed ingredients react with sedatives, which causes poisoning.
  • With ARVI. Medicines that suppress viruses while using a mask will cause vomiting and upset stools.
  • With pancreatitis. By rubbing the mask into the scalp, you make it so that its components enter the bloodstream and disrupt the pancreas, affecting the production of hormones.
  • With a tumor or cyst. Linseed oil itself is saturated with phytoestrogens, compounds that are similar in structure and action to female sex hormones. This component of flax can affect cysts and tumors, especially if they are hormone-dependent.

If you are sure that hair mask with linseed oil will not hurt you, pay attention to the choice of product. It is best to visit a pharmacy, a large hypermarket or a specialized cosmetic store.

Do not buy oil on the market or in such points that work on the “honest word” – it is likely to run into a fake or low-quality goods.

Choosing oil, pay attention to the company. Discard a product of unknown origin – buy a branded, popular product.

Pay attention to the date of manufacture and shelf life.

Most often the product is sold in liquid form. But you can also purchase flaxseed oil capsules. They are also very effective.

If the product is of high quality, the oil is yellow, without sediment and impurities, does not have a strong odor, but there is a pronounced oily consistency.

Linseed oil consumed inside – its rate is from one to two tablespoons per day. You can take just on an empty stomach, and you can add food: porridge or salads, but only in its natural form, without subjecting it to heat treatment.

This product will be a serious burden on the body, so you can not drink linseed oil in diseases of the digestive system. Ulcer, cholecystitis, intestinal, liver and gall problems are the main taboos.

Mostly oil is used externally. It is very fat, so the mask should be used, adhering to some rules.

How to apply flaxseed oil for hair, so as not to damage the hair and get the maximum effect?

  • Do not wash your hair. In order not to overdry the curls, you need to apply a mask on unwashed hair.
  • To apply on dry hair. Most often, masks are liquid, so they will be best absorbed into dry hair.
  • Hold for half an hour. It is believed that in thirty minutes it is already possible to get the desired effect, so wearing an mask for an hour or more is not worth it.
  • Thermal effect Flaxseed oil loves warmth, so by applying a mask, you need to wrap hair to enhance the effect.
  • Give up a hairdryer. You should not dry your hair artificially with hot air – there will be no effect from the mask.
  • Observe the frequency. If the hair is very dry, it is possible to perform manipulations twice a week, and if oily, once every seven days.
  • Pass the course . Sessions need to spend two months in a row. It is such a period that cosmetologists take away for the treatment of hair.

Reviews: “Magnificent brilliance, unsurpassed smoothness”

I also decided to try using flaxseed oil for hair. And I liked it.
How I do it:
1. Once a month my head with deep cleaning shampoo.
2. I dry hair in the natural way, I do not use the hair dryer, indelibations, I do not apply balm.
3. Before bedtime, I apply linseed oil on my hair. At length. For the roots I use a mixture: burdock + almond + essential oil of cedar or beat. (mixed in this special kit for making masks)
The feeling that the hair instantly absorbs the oil.
4. I braid the braid, wrap the hair in film, put on a warm hat on top. So go to bed.
5. In the morning I wash off the hair oil with shampoo, apply a balm.

The effect of flaxseed oil on the hair surpasses even my favorite jojoba oil. Magnificent shine, unsurpassed smoothness. The recipe is the most common, no frills:
– on the hair washed once with shampoo, and slightly dried with a towel (5 minutes in a turban), I apply oil along the entire length (and on the roots too).
– I keep 30-40 minutes, sometimes longer, when I forget that there is oil on my head. But I do not specifically delay.

This applies to all oils except coconut. I keep him as long as possible.
– Shampoo my head twice. Already in the process of the first wash, I feel that the oil is gone, the second time – the control one.

For the ease of flushing, for the shine on the hair, for the fact that the oil does not weigh down, surely many will love it. No dancing with tambourines is required.

There were problems with hair that couldn’t grow them for a long time, they just broke, they were dry and didn’t shine, and were still liquid, and besides short haircuts I didn’t do anything, I began to eat right, drink vitamins, made hair masks for hair, the effect there was nothing special, my hair became a little bit faster, but I wanted to grow them and that they were less thick, so I would have lived if I hadn’t tried linseed oil on myself (I read in the forums). I have been drinking it on an empty stomach for 3 years, 1 teaspoon 30 minutes before meals. My hair has become such as it has never been, it has thickened and the branches to the shoulders.

Now I calmly paint them once a week without fear for the consequences (that the latter will “crawl out”). And here is my firm belief that external care is certainly good, but the most important thing is their internal makeup from the inside and flaxseed oil is my secret to finally regrown hair. The only thing I buy is not in the store and not in the pharmacy, but found a private butter-making plant, it presses the oil on a wooden press, so all the vitamins in it are probably for this reason
