I rarely wear hats, even in winter. The exception is made by days when temperature in the street falls below 10 degrees with a minus sign. In our area, such frosts are rare. For some reason, the last years the temperature in winter more often resembles the autumn one: there are doji, dirt underfoot, and on a thermometer one rarely sees the temperature below zero degrees.
And yet there are caps in my wardrobe. There are several of them, because the same hat cannot harmoniously look with a down-padded coat, with a sheepskin coat, or with a leather jacket. And I love to change clothes often.
I have a favorite down jacket – cheerful, orange. I noticed that he is very uplifting. Therefore, I wear it more often. In winter, there are not enough bright colors! To this down jacket, I always wear a hat with earflaps. In winter, my ears get the most cold, so I try to keep them warm in cold weather.
My first hat with long-long ears appeared at school. I still have it in my possession: white, with blankets of rabbit fur. I remember with what pride I went to school for the first time! And then my classmates called me a spaniel 🙂 I was upset and did not wear this hat anymore.
True, I still wore it much later, when I was walking through the snowdrifts with a pram 🙂 Even then, it looked great!
