Fruit in breast feeding
Every woman tries to make her baby grow strong and healthy. In many respects it is promoted also by a correct feed of the newborn. Fruits in breastfeeding are an inexhaustible source of nutrients. But not all of them are equally useful for moms and crumbs. In the first month of the baby’s life, even harmless mandarins can cause allergies, so to choose which foods to include in the diet should be treated with caution.
In principle, nursing mother can eat almost any fruit, but you need to know the extent. So, if you really want mandarin, lemon or orange, then they need to be dosed. These fruits are strong allergens and if the baby or you feel any discomfort, it is a clear sign that citrus fruits in the first month of life are better to refrain.
