Mastitis is a serious disease. Its causes are bacteria that get into the gland through the blood, because the body is weakened after delivery, and also if there are chronic diseases or a predisposition to their appearance. This provokes a breast enlargement, and eventually the appearance of cracks in the skin, through which a repeated infection with the infection can occur, complicating the treatment. As a result, lactostasis may appear on the background of mastitis – stagnation of milk. He can also become the cause of the disease.
This disease is characterized by periodicity. Accordingly, each period is additionally characterized by a separate list of symptoms.
