Glycine for newborns

Glycine for infants: features of action and instructions for use

Glycine for babies is a drug that stimulates brain activity. The doctor prescribes the medicine to the child if there is a need to improve memory, attention, concentration, or when the baby does not sleep well. Often, the tool is indicated to give to children who have problems with sleep disturbances.

Like any other drug, glycine is not prescribed for every child. Initially, gynecologists urged pregnant women that taking the medication is necessary to prevent the development of brain malformations of the unborn child. Another medicine was prescribed for those girls who had anemia. To date, the drug is shown to babies born before the term, as well as in situations where an injury was caused during childbirth.

Glycine for newborns

Prescribing to newborns: allowed or undesirable

Glycine is a preparation of a mild sedative effect, and this suggests that it does not affect negatively on the psyche. The action of the drug is so neat that it is impossible to notice cardinal changes immediately on the day of administration or after a while. However, for an organism that does not yet have a year, this is quite enough for calming. There are no contraindications to prescribing, and this suggests that it is possible to give glycine to a newly born child.

For the body of a growing baby glycine is harmless. At the age of 6 years and older, you can take 1 tablet every day, also before bedtime. It can be combined with valerian, which will enhance the desired effect (it is also harmless, and created from natural ingredients).

As already mentioned, glycine is prescribed for newborns for the second decade. And every year the properties of the drug are being studied more and more. Previously, the drug was used only to treat disorders of the nervous system and alcoholism. Now it became clear that the drug is safe for the treatment of young children.

Glycine is a highly effective physiological agent that easily replaced heavy psychotropic drugs, acting in the form of an amino acid familiar to the body, and not an alien element. Its action is based on the suppression of the excitation of excitatory amino acids in neurons.

Thus, thanks to glycine, it is possible to stabilize the work of the nervous system. The agent penetrates almost all biological fluids of the body, and then completely dissolves in them. Due to its ability to completely decompose into liquid and gaseous state, it does not accumulate in tissues, which does not cause habituation. Accordingly, it is safe to give children the first year of life.
