Cooking meat puree for babies at home
During the first year of life, the child’s gastrointestinal tract matures and adapts to environmental conditions. Gradually, new products appear in the baby’s diet: fruit and vegetable purees, porridges, cottage cheese, and then meat – the main supplier of protein, calcium and other elements needed by the growing body. Despite the huge choice of ready-made baby food, many mothers prefer to make meat puree for babies at home. Consider the basic rules and recipes for preparing this delicious, healthy and safe treat.

Products of animal origin in the crumbs menu appear usually in 8-10 months. Babies who are on artificial feeding, poorly gaining weight or suffering from a shortage of B vitamins, a pediatrician may prescribe the introduction of meat complementary foods as early as 6-7 months. It must be remembered that it should be offered only to a healthy child and not earlier than 2 weeks after the introduction of the previous product. Do not expand the diet during vaccinations, epidemics, during the heat or when the child is in a bad mood.
The volume of the first portion should not be more than 1-2 teaspoons, and first you can mix meat puree with vegetables or breast milk in a 1: 1 ratio. It is best to give it once at lunchtime before the main meal, so that during the day to observe the condition of the baby. Sometimes parents note the child’s side effects in the form of rashes, flaking and redness on the skin, vomiting, frequent regurgitation, bowel disorder, the main causes of which are:
- allergy to animal proteins;
- stale or poor quality product, treated with chemicals;
- accidental ingestion of pieces of fat, feathers or animal skin;
- hereditary factor.
Prepare a steamed turkey for 40-50 minutes, drain excess water and refrigerate. Cut the piece into fibers and crush it thoroughly with a blender. Add a little vegetable oil and water if necessary, whisk until smooth.

- vegetable broth;
- ready buckwheat porridge for babies;
- water.
Boil the rabbit fillets in sufficient amount of water until cooked, constantly removing the foam. The total heat treatment time should be at least 1 hour. Pass the chilled piece 2-3 times through the meat grinder, then add the buckwheat porridge, a little vegetable broth and beat thoroughly the resulting mass with a blender.

Prepare meat, skip 2-3 times through a meat grinder. Separate boil the vegetables for 15-20 minutes. Mix all ingredients and whip with a blender, if necessary add a small amount of water or vegetable broth. Before serving, re-bring to a boil.
