My skin is prone to allergies. After applying the cream, powder or tonal foundation, my face becomes covered with a small red rash that itches and crusts. From most of the cosmetics I had to give up. This applies to the care, and decorative cosmetics.
For several years I used an excellent hypoallergenic cleanser, which was sent to me by a friend from Germany. He fit my skin perfectly. But the bottle is empty and the problem of allergy has become relevant again. Three (!) New packages with facial wash had to be given to my mother, because after the very first use my face was again covered with a red rash.
While it was winter, the skin was not so much in need of frequent cleansing. I completely missed washing with water. But now, when the temperature outside is almost 30 degrees, one cannot do without daily purification. The pores are blocked immediately and inflammation appears on the skin.
Recipe from childhood
Then my mother reminded me of one simple but very effective remedy. During transitional age, I had skin problems, like most teenagers. Oily skin, blocked pores and, as a result, acne. One mom’s colleague advised to wash oatmeal.
At first I took this method scornfully – I hated oatmeal from childhood;) And only then, seeing the first results, I believed it because of this means. Now, after many years, the forgotten recipe rescues me again.
Thanks to oatmeal, I manage to clean the skin without the use of cosmetics, which contain many chemical components and do not in the best way affect the condition of the skin. Have you ever washed oatmeal? Not? Then I will tell you how to do it.
The recipe is simple to ugliness. Oatmeal need to grind. Previously, my mother skipped them through a meat grinder, but with the advent of the blender, you can grind them much faster. I take the crushed oatmeal in my palm, moisten it with water and apply it on my face, rubbing it like a scrub. After massaging the skin for a minute or two, I wash off the oat gruel with warm water.
By the way, if you are not in a hurry, you can leave oatmeal on your face for a couple of minutes as a nourishing mask. It is no secret that oatmeal contains a large amount of antioxidants that rejuvenate the skin and a whole set of vitamins and beneficial trace elements.
I really like oatmeal washing! Thanks to this method, my skin looks well-groomed. There is no redness or rash. In addition, oatmeal perfectly cleanses the pores and eliminates the need to use a scrub.
And what means for washing you use?
