Dry skin, facial and body skin care

In my youth I was always proud of dry skin. It seemed to me so great that there are neither pimples nor oily sheen. With age, skin care has become more thorough. After all, dry skin is prone to the early appearance of wrinkles.

From my youth I remembered the simplest rule – do not use soap! I never wash my face with soap, it dries my skin badly, and it starts to peel off, especially in winter. And I always buy cream only moisturizing and nourishing.

Face masks

The simplest and most effective mask for dry skin is from regular cucumber. When there are a lot of cucumbers on the garden, I wipe his face several times every day. Now, while these vegetables are in short supply, I make masks once a week.

I take a small cucumber, rub it on a fine grater, mix it with thick sour cream. I apply the obtained gruel on my face and wash it off in about 20 minutes. The skin becomes softer and does not peel off.

When I go to the bath, be sure to prepare a mask of honey. I do it this way: a spoon of honey, a spoon of vegetable oil, egg yolk. Everything is well mixed and heated. I put several layers on my face and wash them off after 20 minutes.

Scrubs for dry skin

Once every two weeks I always clean the skin with a scrub. Now I do not buy it in the store, but I cook it myself.

Most recently, I started cooking soap at home, although I practically do not use it myself. But the process is interesting. And I decided to do something useful for myself, so I prepared a scrub.

When I poured the soap base into forms, I added a little oatmeal there. It turned out soap scrub, which can be used for dry skin. It gently cleans and does not cause irritation.

In addition to oatmeal, you can use bath salt or coffee grains.

Face lotion

Dry skin must be wiped with lotions. While I use shop cosmetics. But after reading a few interesting recipes, I plan to make the lotion myself.

Here, for example, I was interested in a simple moisturizing lotion from cabbage. For cooking, you need to chop the fresh cabbage leaves and pour hot milk, leave for 30-40 minutes. Then strain and use.

I also read that it is good to moisturize dry skin with juice of sweet fruits, for example, bananas, pears. You can dilute the juice with milk. I think it is necessary to try soon.

I want to say that recently it has become interesting for me to use homemade masks and scrubs. It is not only cheap, but also effective!
