To maintain the youth and beauty of the skin of the face requires regular cleaning of minor impurities, dust, sebum, dead cells. After cleaning, the pores open, the skin begins to breathe, fine wrinkles are smoothed, the face looks fresh and appearance improves.
There are many ways to clean your skin. And today I will talk about the two detox masks that I use myself.
№1 – Hercules Mask Scrub
This mask is suitable for all skin types. Oats cleans, nourishes and smoothes. Helps fight acne and detoxifies.
Take a handful of oatmeal and mash them in a mortar or grind on a coffee grinder. Then brew the oats with boiling water and let it stand for 10-15 minutes. After that, drain the excess water, add a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of kefir and a third teaspoon of finely ground salt. Stir.
Begin to apply to face with light rubbing movements. This should be done quickly so that the salt does not have time to melt. She in our case will play the role of antiseptic and scrub. Kefir moisturizes the skin. Honey will give elasticity. And Hercules smoothes and feeds.
Repeat this procedure every three days for a month and the result will be noticeable, as they say – there is. And on the face 🙂
No. 2 – Cleaning the pores with a gelatin mask
I think many have heard of the wonderful Black Mask, which perfectly cleans the pores and mechanically pulls out dirt and sebum from them. Now I will tell you how to make such a mask yourself from gelatin and activated charcoal.
We will need a tablespoon of gelatin, 3-4 tablets of activated carbon (you can substitute polysorb) and hot water or milk in the amount of 2 tablespoons. The coal tablet is best to first break into small particles, so it dissolves faster.
Put in a cup of gelatin and coal. Fill with hot water, but not boiling water. Stir, if necessary, the mass can be preheated in the microwave for 15 seconds.
Apply to cleansed and steamed face. It is best to apply the mask in several layers. First we apply one layer, wait until it dries out a bit and apply the second one. And so 3-4 times. When applying the mask, avoid getting it on the eyebrows and on the areas around the eyes and lips. When the mask is completely dry it should be removed with a gentle tearing motion.
All horny skin particles, greasy plugs and dirt will remain on this mask.
A gelatin-based detox mask is best done in the evening. For the night the skin is well rested. It is also not recommended to hold it too often. It is quite enough 2-4 times a month.
