Baths to strengthen nails, face and body care

I have very fragile nails, I almost never walked with long nails, but, honestly, I can’t even imagine how you can do something with such a manicure, including cooking and printing. However, I tried as much as possible to strengthen them. The best option is a bath for nails.

I tried several options baths. Of course, the choice depends on what the problem is. If the skin around the nails is rough, then you should definitely make a hot bath with foam, but if it is peeling off, then it is better to add vegetable oil.

Baths with salt and iodine

For me, the most optimal bath with by adding salt, it is better sea, liquid soap for the foam and a little vegetable oil. She has several different actions at once. Including softens and steam out the skin, removes peeling and strengthens the nails themselves.

At one time I often did bath with iodine and sunflower oil. This option acts well on the nail plate. It is even better to add liquid vitamin A. However, I have not always. In addition, recently I read that in fact iodine does not have a firming effect and even hurts the nails. Although they used to say even just smearing the nails with iodine is useful, especially if the nails are brittle.

Oil options

I also tried olive oil bath, where it is enough just to warm up and hold hands in it, but not less than 15 minutes. This procedure will require half a glass of olive oil. This option is not very suitable for me, because I do not like olive oil and do not buy it for cooking, but I don’t want to buy only for procedures.

More often i I use sunflower oil, which also needs to be warmed up a little, but then be sure to add lemon juice, just a few drops. After this procedure, the skin becomes fresher and more elastic. Nails also change after such a procedure, they do not break so quickly.

Herbal baths

Another good option is herbs. Should brew chamomile and oak bark. I always have herbs at home, so if I have time, I prefer to brew them and mix them. In addition, such a procedure is enough to spend only 5 minutes. Nails are strengthened and receive useful substances from these decoctions.


From herbs you can also use peppermint and string. Enough to pour boiling water, insist a couple of minutes and use. Trays of chamomile and black currant juice are also useful. However, this juice is not always possible to get, so often chamomile interfere with other herbs.
