Yesterday we first snowed! This event was delighted and I, and, of course, my daughter. Immediately began talking about the New Year holidays, a letter to Santa Claus and dreams of winter walks on a sled. For some reason, my daughter decided that, since it had snowed, it would be possible to go sledging tomorrow. And the outside temperature was above zero, and the snow melted a few hours later.
Of course, the daughter was upset. I decided to cheer her up. Together we baked gingerbread cookies, with which we associate the New Year holidays. And then, after tea drinking, I suggested to my daughter to do something that reminds her of winter.
My daughter immediately began to cut the snowflakes. This is a favorite activity. She cut out snowflakes even in summer 🙂 I feel that all our windows will be sealed with snowflakes for the New Year 🙂
Help in cutting the daughter is no longer required. She knows how to fold the paper correctly and how to work with scissors. In general, I had no work left, so I decided not to waste time in vain and also be engaged in creative work.
I decided to make a sock snowman. Just shortly before, one white sock accidentally got into the washing machine with black things and changed color. The second was left without a pair. While I was preparing the necessary materials, my daughter finished cutting snowballs and decided to take part. She stuffed a sock with a holofiber, in two places I pulled it with a string. We have a snowman. Nose and buttons I cut out of felt and glued. It turned out great!
Dear readers, tell me, what crafts on the winter theme are you doing with children?
