Everyone knows the picture when our relatives or we ourselves find various diseases in ourselves, just by reading the description in the medical encyclopedia. In the worst case, in an ineptly rewritten article on the Internet. But even worse when we find these diseases in children. The most popular I have come across is hyperactivity.View from the outside
According to my observations of the Internet community, this is a very popular term today. Many mothers are in a hurry to apply it to their child and to punch their hands, feeling sorry for themselves, unhappy. Even when my kuma son was small, she often in conversations with me complained about his hyperactivity and blamed epidural anesthesia during childbirth.
And according to my observations, the child was quite normal – he ran and frolicked, neither more nor less than other children in my understanding. I didn’t have mine at that time, so I didn’t go into disputes with my godfather.
On the other girlfriend, we had children of about two months difference. We lived in different countries, but when the children were about one year old, she came to stay with their children with their parents. That’s when I understood the whole point of the concept of hyperactivity.
Her son was running around the playground in such a way that we couldn’t calmly spread over two phrases. At home, he was a leader among toys and other children. He ate with shouts and screams. I frankly felt sorry for my girlfriend, who was noticeably thin, although she was always in the body.
And at the same time she considered her son a completely normal child. Simply, he is an extrovert with the makings of a leader. On the question of hyperactivity, she shrugged her shoulders, they say, this is not about us.
And it was even more surprising for me to hear such characteristics from others addressed to my child. I once told how I went to a boxing tournament with my daughter. As for me, she behaved like any normal child. But a friend who made us company was surprised at her hyperactivity.
Grandma also likes to screw something like that. And all because my child sometimes likes to just circle around the apartment. He walks and walks at a fast pace, as if he is in a hurry somewhere. You ask what? Replies that she just wants to. Or sits-sits, and suddenly just shout: AAAA !. Here she wanted to cry out now.
Yes, she has difficulty concentrating. When the start and play out, it is difficult to stop. But at the same time in the kindergarten among children, she behaves more restrained. In general, as for me, I also behaved like this in childhood, and most of the children with whom I grew up behaved the same way.
In my opinion, hyperactivity is a medical term. This is a diagnosis denoting some kind of pathology. Only a specialist can determine it. And the fact that a child for some individual external manifestations falls under the characteristics, it still does not mean anything.
And who can confidently say where the child’s activity rate is, and where is its excess?
