My daughter loves to draw. It turns out from her, I want to note, very well. My husband’s mom is an icon painter, so my daughter regularly receives free professional lessons. In addition, in kindergarten there is a drawing circle. He is led by a school drawing teacher.
More recently, the plots of the drawings were very simple: either a flower, a tree, or a cat. When the daughter waited for the younger sister to appear, she often portrayed the family: herself, father, and a very fat mother. Sister, as expected, lived with her mother in the tummy. Every family member must have a crown on his head.
According to psychologists, if a child draws a crown and bright outfits only for himself, he is used to being the center of the universe for his parents. In this case, you need to think about raising your child. If all family members in the figure with the crowns, it means that the family is full order.
When the youngest was born, the plot of the daughter’s masterpieces changed. At each picture is now present baby. My daughter draws herself between her parents, and her sister next to her mother on the other side. This is not surprising, because with the younger one I spend the maximum of time, not my husband.
Above us the smiling bright sun always shines. This means that the daughter in the family is warm and happy.
In order to understand the meaning of children’s drawings, it is not necessary to be a psychologist. Here are the main points to pay attention to.
The color scheme of the picture
A happy, cheerful child will never draw in gray-black tones. He can use them as a separate element (for example, the pupils or the contour of the house), but the main plot of the picture will be bright, saturated.
If the child still painted something in black, do not rush to panic. Wait a couple of days and ask him to repeat the drawing on the same topic. Perhaps it was on that day that the child had a bad mood or was tired.
Once the daughter depicted 13 identical flowers in a row, the last of which was black. And it was a drawing for the grandmother’s birthday. I was frightened in earnest and began to ask my daughter why she had depicted a black flower. It turned out, everything is simple. My daughter printed out a pack of 13 pencils, and she wanted to try each one. The last was black.
The location and size of items
A sheet of paper is the world of a child. If the child draws large objects, taking up all the free space on the piece, it means that he feels comfortable in his world. If the details of the picture are too small, this indicates a low self-esteem of the baby.
With a positive emotional attitude, the child will depict flowers, sunshine or other bright elements. Otherwise, the child will draw monsters, snakes and other horror films.
If a child, drawing a family, locates himself far from his parents, it means he feels unnecessary, he lacks attention.
