I do not belong to the category of people who believe that fairy tales are intended only for children. In most of them there is a philosophical meaning and popular wisdom, which is not all adults. Anyway, reading fairy tales to our children, we must help them in their correct perception.
My goddaughter is no exception to the children of our time. He likes to watch the animated series Masha and the Bear and other cartoons on TV.
Among the modern products for children, there are those that I find quite interesting and those that do not seem to me to be of any use. In particular, most of the tales needed for reading, in my opinion, were written in the middle of the 20th century, and many earlier.
Why do we need tales?
Unfortunately, I have often met people who believe that fairy tales do not carry any special semantic load, that they exist only to occupy children with something and at the same time that their reading is not at all necessary … I am fundamentally I do not agree with this position.
A fairy tale on two levels – conscious and subconscious – teaches the child the rules of life, the attitude towards people and things around him, and sometimes clearly indicates the purpose of life. Therefore, it is important to choose for reading such fairy tales that will correspond to your idea of education.
Among other things, the tale carries a huge informational component transmitted from generation to generation. In my opinion, the belief that good always triumphs over evil is extremely important for children’s perception, and it must be instilled in the child from the very first years of life.
And which of the tales in the TOP most like you and your children?
