For me, a typical resident of a city apartment who loves comfort and practicality in everything, the test of a trip to the village was twofold. On the one hand, this is dissatisfaction with a certain incoherence of everyday life and other rural delights, and on the other, a real insight into the way of life.
Immediately you need to make a reservation that I went to a village with a beautiful name Nikolskoye-on-Dnepr with a two-year-old daughter, a nephew and parents. The fact that last summer I had already made a similar trip is important, but as it turned out, I felt the fullness of the rest in the village only now.
And all because the one-year-old baby, who sleeps twice a day, walks on the street carefully by the hand with her mother and for which her mother’s milk is still food, it is not at all like a two-year awl this year. Well, first things first.
Life is a delicate matter
Inconvenience. And although my village history implies a gasified house with tap water, a bathroom and a toilet in the house, I found something to complain about in matters of everyday life.
Absolutely all the village hostesses transfer their culinary abode to the summer kitchen for the warm season – this was the case in our case. But there just water is not provided. And so I had to wear my numerous kitchen utensils (from several plates to a blender) after cooking for my daughter in the garden and washing in the field.
In addition to the kitchen one, there was a bathing nuance … There was a bath in the house, but instead of a sewage system there was a waste pit, which tends to fill up quickly, and it is expensive to pump water out of it, which means you cannot pour the usual waterfalls. For this was a summer shower all in the same garden.
Well, and plus the endless struggle for the purity of the hands, feet and sandals of my daughter, smeared with chicken litter and other products of rural life.
Benefit. Surprisingly, I saw some things with different eyes. For example, the fact that in the cooking can be dirty half the dishes. Or the fact that there is absolutely no need to wash children’s clothes every day, and at home it was by inertia – in the typewriter, after all.
Anicutino was also a positively positive acquaintance with a summer shower – there was not even a need to persuade my daughter to wet her hair, everything happened by itself.
Nutrition and nutritional aspects
disadvantages. The lack of a highchair on hand made feeding the baby incredibly dynamic and a little problematic. The swing was saved on the street, but at the same time there was a need to drive away the annoying flies and other insects, which strove to fall into the plate.
Benefit. Except for the little things mentioned, all the other effects of the village food turned out to be extremely positive.
Homemade organic products gave every dish a divine taste! And the baby with pleasure devoured everything offered to her.
Her appetite has noticeably grown, still – all day in the fresh air.
In the course went even fruit, which she refused to look at home. It is very pleased.
Activity during the day
disadvantages. I was pretty tired, because our day with Anya was passing in endless movement between the river, rabbits / chickens and the survey area. Not a minute of rest in front of the TV, not a distraction at the computer.
And it seemed to me a crime to get the baby into the house, so I ran after her from morning till night.
Benefit. Activity is great! Anya learned so much new things, gained some new skills, experience, her self-confidence got stronger. The vocabulary of the daughter has grown significantly during his stay in the village.
Her activity had a positive effect on appetite and on the quality of sleep.
In this question, some great advantages! And from walking barefoot on the asphalt heated by the sun, on the pleasant green grass, and from the airy sunbaths, from which only truski covered their daughter.
Swimming in the river, walks in the woods, replenishment of vitamins from fruits and vegetables – all this was a tremendous contribution to health! Now all the inconvenience is over, and the benefit, I hope, will serve us for a long time.
