I don’t know how much Muscovites are on this site, and how much this only affects Moscow, but I want to share (and discuss) the latter kindergarten reform, which is designed to save on preschool childcare facilities by compacting groups and transforming all groups of unnecessary facilities into groups.
The Moscow authorities decided to reform the pre-school childcare facilities under the beautiful slogan of reducing queues to kindergartens. Now (since September 2011) every child can get a place in the group, thanks to these wonderful transformations. But are they so wonderful?
In metropolitan kindergartens, psychologists, speech therapists, music teachers, drawing teachers and other teachers of additional education are expected to decline. The Moscow authorities headed for kindergartens. The problem of giant queues in kindergartens is going to be solved by re-equipment in the bedrooms of the assembly halls, music and art halls. Teachers say that kindergartens will no longer be the first stage of education and will become storage chambers in September. (GZT.RU)
If now there are 15 people in the nursery groups, and 25 in the kindergartens, then it is planned to increase to 25 and 40, respectively. If earlier the rate for 1 child was at least 5 square meters, now it will be equal to 2 square meters. All assembly halls, gyms and other rooms will be refitted groups, but! Anyone who has ever been in kindergarten knows that a group is not one square room, but a whole complex consisting of a playroom, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a changing room. Kindergarten is designed with these features in mind, and not just divided into squares, and then – at least do not dawn. How will the sanitary facilities be installed, etc. in the gym – it is not clear.
Experts of the Public Chamber say that groups created on the basis of additionally vacated space will have to go to the toilet for adults, i.e. they will not have their own bathroom. And in this toilet have access as parents (or representatives of children), from whom no one asks for medical books. In addition, while the tutor leads one to the toilet, the rest are left alone, no one looks at them. Those. will have to lead all organized to the toilet on a schedule, so to speak, and not who when he wants.
My son has been moving from nursery to garden since September. I asked our teacher, she said that everything was quiet and no one was talking about any reforms. But we are the Moscow region. I think with horror that if it passes quietly in Moscow, the reform will crawl into the regions. I can not imagine how you can keep 25 small children all day in a confined space. I can not imagine how they will walk with them, and whether? I understand that if it affects me personally, then I will have to get out somehow, but to give the child to such an institution is suicide!
The next number is the news that the Department of Education denies … But my Moscow girlfriends, who are somehow connected with the kindergarten, say that yes, the teachers (music teachers, etc.) announced that they work until June, and then – free. And there are already plans to refurbish the halls for groups.
And what do you think about this topic?
