In the life of my daughter will soon happen an important event. Today she discovered that her front tooth began to stagger. So, the Tooth Fairy will visit us soon.
Of all the teeth, the daughter has only one sealed. Looking at other children who have teeth darkened from caries, I came to the conclusion that I managed to keep my daughter’s milk teeth healthy. I want to tell you what I did for this.
It’s not as hard as it seems. The main thing is that all family members should live peacefully without sweets. It will not be possible to convince the child that sweet is harmful if mother buys chocolates for tea every day.
When my daughter started to grow up and show interest in sweets, I had to buy it much less often than before. My daughter, looking at me, drinks tea with dried fruit with pleasure (I am losing weight, and my daughter is behind the company).
Do not think that she does not know the taste of chocolate bars and caramels. She eats them at her grandmother or at a party, but at home they appear very rarely.
Regular teeth cleaning
I started brushing my daughter’s teeth from the moment they appeared. I wound a bandage moistened with water on my finger and rubbed the first two teeth with it, which appeared in my daughter at 5 months. A little later, I bought a special soft brush that fits on the finger. She turned out to be more convenient to clean.
When my daughter got older, I didn’t just brush her teeth, but I also taught her to do it independently and efficiently: I didn’t just brush my teeth, but I also cleaned the coating well from all sides.
Regular visits to the dentist
I have dental problems since childhood. Every six months, I visit a dentist to quickly identify incipient problems. When my daughter was 2 years old, I started taking her with me for checkups.
The dentist had no difficulty in assessing the health of her tooth, and I was calm that my daughter wouldn’t face a toothache.
I am grateful to the teachers of my daughter for teaching the children to rinse their mouth after each meal. To be honest, for some reason I didn’t teach the baby this, and I don’t have this habit myself.
Now the daughter after a meal must run to the bathroom to perform this procedure. At one time I even had to persuade her that it was not necessary to do it on the street after drinking juice 🙂
I hope that the daughter’s permanent teeth will be no less strong than the milky ones.
And your kids have strong teeth? What are you doing to keep them healthy?
