Many parents (including myself) are faced with the problem of schooling in preschool children. They can not wait, they need everything now. They cannot do anything for more than five minutes and need attention all the time, while parents want to devote at least five minutes to themselves and just be in silence.
So how can you take a child to slowly teach him patience?
The simplest thing you can do is remember what kind of cartoons a child is watching. Surprisingly, the cartoons with the plot soothe children! All these Soviet Cheburashkas and the Canterville Ghosts keep the child at the screen with the plot!
What cartoons, on the contrary, hinder the development of such a useful skill? Tom and Jerry and others like him. Leaving alone the cruelty and the believability of these cartoons, let’s look at them in more detail.
Bright, successive pictures, almost unrelated, force to swallow information and are addictive. This becomes a kind of reflex, such as fast food: try to force the guy after the army to eat slowly and steadily – it won’t work, he will sweep everything off the plate in a couple of minutes. So here: having got used to the rapid change of images and colors, the child no longer simply understands that it can be somehow different. And, most importantly, they do not understand why.
However, if you decide to transplant your crumb, you should not hope that everything will happen at one moment and go smoothly – here you will have to show patience, replacing Woody Woodpecker by a snowman mailer a little bit.
For example, you can put such a condition: first, Nut twig, and then Bugs Bunny. And be sure to look at the Soviet cartoon together, asking again what is happening and expressing your emotions as vividly as possible. And then discuss – the opportunity to talk about your experiences is very valuable for the child and then the scope for such conversations.
As for the games that develop perseverance, then, of course, this is all sorts of puzzles, constructors, clay, drawing and games to find a pair (for example, a popular game where someone has a house) or differences (attentiveness also trains). But there are more unusual options.
Have you ever wondered what a person feet for? Is it only walking? Did you try to move pencils or some large objects with your toes (big beads, nuts, toys)? Not? So why not do it right now! Believe me, until the pencils move from point A to point B through your legs, you will experience for yourself how this wonderful exercise forms patience! And, at the same time, the arch of the foot.
But besides this, there is still something important.
Best develops patience … help around the house. Trust the child with a broom – and let him work for the benefit of family comfort. Help him wash the dishes. Show how to disturb the dough. Teach dusting and washing your own toys.
Of course, at first it will add to your work, but then it will become much less, and, most importantly, you will do it not just by dumping the child on the fragile shoulders of the child, but for educational purposes. And then even the most strict grandmothers can not say anything against it.
