Sleep disorders can be caused by cartoons, computer games with shooters or horror films, adult films, shouts in the family, quarrels of parents.

Looking at my child, I began to analyze his way of life. I especially paid attention to the programs and cartoons that he watches. I noticed that some of them are saturated with excessive cruelty, monsters and monsters.

Recently, a son addicted to broadcasts about psychics. And there they tell only about corpses and ghosts. I do not always have time to control the TV, but when I notice that the children watch about such non-childish things, I try to switch the channel.

Also, the computer played a role. Children’s games are no longer interesting to his son, give him shooters, strategies. And there is a lot of blood, severed heads and a sea of ​​skeletons.

When the picture cleared, I was already thinking about how to correct the situation and save my son from nightmares.

My methods of dealing with nightmares

I completely banned my little computer games with violence and disgrace. Left him only tutor and those who do not affect the child’s psyche.

Further, I began to lay it myself to sleep. Hugging, stroking his head, soothed after a stormy day. After all, the son took a lot of energy during the day, for the evening he became irritated and very tired.

Cartoons went through everything. Disks with monsters and witches hid away. Left only positive, not scary.

I also began to talk with my son about his fears. I began to pronounce every dream, asked him that he was dreaming. We began to discuss all the heroes of his dreams, tried to reduce everything to a joke.

After some time, somewhere in a month, I already noticed an improvement. The son began to wake less at night, the dream became deeper and the terrible dreams began to gradually go away.
