It always seemed to me that choosing shoes for a child is very simple. After all, in stores now such a variety! It is enough to determine the model and size and you can make a purchase. So I did at first, but, disappointed several times in the quality of my daughter’s shoes, I began to approach the choice more responsibly.
Properly selected shoes are not only beauty and convenience, but also a guarantee that the baby’s foot will be shaped correctly, therefore, the child will not experience future problems associated with the musculoskeletal system.
What to look for
Quality shoes must necessarily have such features:
1. Flexible outsole. When walking, it should be bent without much effort by the child. The thinner the sole, the more comfortable the shoe.
2. The backdrop should be as rigid as possible., so that the foot of the child is located correctly. I have a problem with this – the backs of any of my shoes are curved inside. Therefore, I always make sure that my daughter’s heel is securely fixed.
3. The material from which the shoe is made should be soft.. Once I bought expensive leather shoes for my daughter, but did not notice that they were too hard. As a result, their daughter wore for a very short time, since they turned out to be terribly uncomfortable when walking.
4. Like any mom, I want my daughter to wear shoes as long as possible, so I never take shoes for future use. But always make sure thatdistance between the big toe and the toe of the boot did not exceed 1.5 cm. Fulfillment of this rule provides not only convenience, but also the safety of the child, because with too loose shoes the child can fall.
Of course, the best choice would be shoes made of genuine leather. It has environmental friendliness, the baby’s foot will sweat in such shoes much less. In addition, leather shoes are considered the most durable.
Recently, progress does not stand still. Shoes from so-called breathable materials appeared on the market. To buy this is only in specialized stores, because you can buy a fake.
In terms of reliability and convenience, this shoe can be compared to leather. My daughter had demi-season boots made from such material and I can say that we liked them more than leather ones. After two seasons of socks, they look like new.
I described the basic principles that I try to adhere to when choosing my daughter’s shoes. And how do you choose children’s shoes?
