I really love autumn. In spite of the fact that you don’t look like light clothing, bright autumn colors always make me happy. My daughter also took my love for this wonderful time of the year. She always enjoys the soft rays of the autumn sun.
We often go for a walk in the park, where the baby is happy to collect chestnuts and yellowed leaves. We bought her a basket so that fragile foliage could be brought home safely and safely.
Recently, my daughter in the kindergarten had an exhibition of crafts on the autumn theme. Since the leaves of yellow this year is still small, we decided to make a caterpillar of chestnuts. In order to bond them together, we used clay. The caterpillar was placed on a yellow maple leaf carved from colored cardboard.
I liked this idea because it is easy to make such an article. My help was hardly needed, I just drew and cut out a piece of paper. The daughter did everything else herself, she is very proud of it.
In my opinion, autumn is the most suitable time to make crafts from natural materials. After all, they can be made not only from yellowed leaves and chestnuts, but also from ripe vegetables and fruits! Also useful are colored paper, cardboard, plasticine, glue, pencils, felt-tip pens, and most importantly – imagination and patience 🙂
Stocks of leaves, chestnuts and dry blades of grass help us out in the winter. During the frost and blizzard, the daughter looks at them with great pleasure, recalling the autumn walks in the park.
Have you already opened the season of handicrafts for the autumn theme?
