I often share a variety of crafts. Some leave to myself, some I give to friends and relatives. Most of all, of course, gets my little daughter. She gathered a whole collection of soft toys, salt dough figurines and decorations, which I made myself.
A year ago my cousin had a son. When the tribe was still quite a crumb, I crocheted the rattles and sewed the pendant into the crib. Now these kids are not so interesting. He grows and studies the world around him: he learns to put things in a box, press various buttons, put cubes on top of one another.
I decided to make a baby sorter as a gift. I took a cardboard box from under my shoes, cut holes in it in the shape of the parts that the kid would put in the box. I used kinder cases, plastic bottle caps, and salt dough stars as parts.
To toy attracted the attention of the crumbs, I pasted the box with bright wrapping paper. Sorter turned out great! Before he fell into the hands of his nephew, they had plenty of my 5-year-old daughter.
Educational toys can be made not only for the youngest children, but also for those who are preparing to go to school. For example, my daughter, I made a watch with moving hands. According to him she learns to determine the time.
I printed the pictures with the daily routine. The daughter selects the desired picture to a specific location of the arrows. For example, I put the little hand of the clock on the number 8, and my daughter shows a picture of the sun. So it’s time to get up!
Educational toys are incredibly useful for kids. And to make them is not at all difficult.
And what crafts for the development of kids did you do?
