There used to be just cartoons. And now among them is full of developing. Conveniently – the child sat down, let him develop, and mothers can do things.
My son loves cartoons. His main love is cartoons and cars cartoons. Based on his interest, we choose what to see. Previously, his favorite cartoon was Tini Love. Now our favorite – about Levu truck.
My attitude to developing cartoons
It is rather ambiguous. On the one hand, they are useful, because children can study colors, numbers, letters, etc., on the other hand, who knows what kind of people they are created for, whether they are related to raising children and whether they know the child’s psychology.
1. Trust, but verify.
Seating the child to watch a cartoon, I always first look at it myself and decide: is he good enough? I.e:
– is there a good sound in the cartoon
– is the material sufficiently understandable?
– how pleasant and interesting heroes are
– Does it match the age of my child?
2. Everything is good in moderation.
I try to dose the time my son spent on cartoons. No matter how they develop, it’s not very useful for a kid to sit long in front of the screen.
Is there any benefit from developing cartoons?
I think, of course, there is. Recently, the son surprised me by counting from five to ten accurately. I know that the daughter on the eve of playing with her brother in letters, but did she teach him to count? It turned out that purposefully none of us tried to teach a child to count.
Of course, he is familiar with the score: we count the drops of medicine together, the rings on the pyramid and on the playground, then the cubes. But they did not notice that he tried to count. And here on you – immediately without errors. Then they remembered that several times the son was watching a cartoon about numbers. Apparently, all together and gave results.
Again, to study the colors, shapes of objects and much more, various cartoons with a developing mark may well help.
Are they necessary?
I confess that developing cartoons for me is just a way to distract a child for a few minutes. If you notice, in all developing cartoons – the game.
Therefore, I consider that it is better to go down to the child on the floor, take the car he loves, multi-colored cubes or any toy and arrange a game with him. I think it will turn out no less interesting, and there will be more benefit from such a pastime than from any of the most wonderful educational cartoons. Still, live communication with relatives is very important. So I try to keep my son watching cartoons to a minimum.
Do your children watch cartoons? And how much do you think they are useful?
