Most recently, I laid out a topic about what you can do with your child for a walk with their parents. Today I want to tell you about spending time with other kids, as well as about our collective games.
Now I meet more and more parents who are sitting with their children at home and are trying to teach them to read in 3-4 years. They think this is more important than playing with a child of his own age.
It seems to me that nothing develops a child like a game. Through the game, the child learns the world, gets the first communication skills, first quarrels and compromises. Modern children do not know what the game of classics is, or what fun you can get by jumping through the gum.
Do not expect the child to join the team and immediately join the game. He needs to be taught this. My son and I signed up for dancing at 2.3 years. Our first lesson was very funny. I took him to the group, and she sat on the bench and began to observe. He did absolutely nothing that the teacher showed. Children are all about the same age and few have turned out all right. They ran around the spacious empty hall and squealed. And only when the mothers began to dance with them, did the children start repeating movements. So with the games, do everything with the children and then they will be included in the game on the street without any problems.
I want to offer you a few games in which my son plays.
I have already said before that all games related to sand are in the first place. If there are other children in the sandbox, then I try to engage everyone. We compete in the ability to make paschka, build a tower and sculpt koloboks. Here you can teach a child to share or defend their toys.
2) Story and role-playing games
At this age, for the first time kids want to be a bear, a doctor or a cook. You can take your own life as a basis, i.e. a doctor with a patient or a buyer with a seller. And you can take as a basis for the plot of your favorite fairy tale. For example, the fairy tale Kolobok or Turnip. We often played in the yard last summer, the children loved it.
Moreover, all the girls are included in these games with pleasure. This is exactly the age where the kids can not sit in one place. We throw the ball, play football. And also the kids really like bowling. We even have mini competitions. At first the children took the ball from each other, but then they got used to it and waited for their turn.
4) Rain and sun
The essence of the game is as follows. An adult stands in the center of the circle, and children are around. When I say the sun shines on the street, then kids can run, jump and fool around. And when I open the umbrella with the words that it started to rain, then the kids should all come running and stand under the umbrella. Who was the last one opens and drives.
This game is very well consolidated our knowledge of colors and shades. One mother gets back to the children and calls one color. Then he counts to 10 and turns. Every child finds this color on his clothes or on objects around him. It develops very well the ability to listen and hear parents, the ability to respond quickly and the ability to help another.
6) Locomotive or snake
I read this game in a children’s magazine. Its meaning is that the children, led by an adult, take each other by the waist. An adult leads them along the path, bending around the trees, bypassing various objects, and children should not open their hands. The one who opens the arms becomes the leader and begins his journey.
That’s basically the main games that were interesting to us last summer. For this summer you need to invent something. Share your skills, it will be very interesting to try something new.
