Recently, passing in the hypermarket past the shelves with products for children’s hygiene, I drew attention to the fairy tale toothpaste. Drew bright packaging and inscriptions on a tube with the taste of raspberry and without fluorine and sugar. And I decided to buy it.
By the way, the cost of the toothpaste was rather low – over 50 g I gave a little more 20 rubles.
Already at home, I began to carefully examine the tube and its contents. The manufacturer of this toothpaste was the domestic firm Shante Beauty, which was completely unfamiliar to me before.
The manufacturer claims that the paste is absolutely safe for children from birth. It does not contain fluoride, sugar, so it is great for caring for the oral cavity and baby teeth of children, protecting babies from common problems such as caries and gum disease.
The composition of the paste contains 12 components. I did not find any information about the dangers of any of them on the Internet. Some act as thickeners, others for enamel polishing, others as a sugar substitute, etc.
But, I realized that the constituent components are safe only in the case of their moderate use. In this case – no more than 2 peas of pasta (one in the morning, the second – in the evening). The rest of the day a bright tube with pink contents should be kept away from the eyes of the baby.
As I already wrote, I was delighted by the presence of raspberry flavor in the pasta in the store. I was sure that after the mint tastes of the previous toothpastes (with which we cleaned the child’s teeth earlier), the son would probably be delighted with the berry flavor. Smell, It came from an open tube, only reinforced my assumptions on this subject.
But everything turned out to be not quite so. The son also liked the smell, but as soon as it came to brushing his teeth, his delight disappeared instantly. He flatly refused to brush his teeth, spit out the foam from his mouth and clenched his teeth tightly. My attempts to put a toothbrush in his mouth were in vain.
At first I blamed everything on his mood. Therefore, I decided that the next day we would try again to clean the teeth with raspberry paste. However, the situation repeated. It was obvious that he didn’t like pasta.
Then I could not resist and decided to try to brush my teeth with this paste. I squeezed a little more paste onto my brush than my son, and set to work. The taste of the contents was much worse than the smell. But this is nothing. When the paste began to foam, I understood the reasons for the negative on the part of my son.
She foamed very well, but the taste of this foam was just disgusting. This cleaning caused only one desire – quickly spit it all out and rinse your mouth with water. By the way, in terms of good cleansing abilities, I also did not feel anything in it.
Perhaps this paste is just an amateur. But I personally did not like it at all. With this purchase I won back the desire not only to acquire this paste in the future, but also other means of this manufacturer.
