All parents want their children to grow up healthy and strong. So, when I was still pregnant and on ultrasound I found out that I would have a boy, I wondered what sport I would like to see him in. It does not matter whether it develops into a profession or will be as the basis of physical development.
Preschoolers still too early to engage in professional sports. In any section, they learn only the basics, which over time will come in handy to them if they want to go further.
My little son will be three years old soon, it’s time to give him up for classes. But when I went to find out, I ran into such a problem: children do not want to be taken to many sections because of their small age.
I’ll tell you more about each of them, from what age they recommend to drive children and what are the health restrictions.
This is the first section in which I would like to give the child. I’m not a fan, but I really like the players. Take in this section with 5-6 years. Restrictions on health: myopia, cardiovascular diseases, ulcers or duodenal ulcer and this is not the whole list.
The main advantages of football are the improvement of the work of the musculoskeletal and vestibular apparatus, coordination, development of accuracy, accuracy, reaction and correct posture.
Classes are held 3 times a week. The child needs to buy a uniform, sports equipment and shoes.
Requirements for health and age are similar to those imposed in football schools.
Form and balls are asked to acquire parents.
Most recently, we have opened an equestrian club, in which you can engage in children from 4 years. There are no special restrictions on health, you need to bring a certificate from an ophthalmologist and a pediatrician, that the child is healthy.
Gather a group that consists of 4-5 people, and first acquaint them with horses. They say that they eat, how to approach a horse, how to climb on it and sit correctly. And then just ride on a pony, which keeps the instructor by the bridle. Classes are held 2 times a week, at the initial stage of special equipment is not needed.
We take girls to gymnastics from the age of 4, and boys from 5-6. I do not know why, but true. Health restrictions: myopia. Gymnastics allows you to develop in the child flexibility, good posture, agility.
In the classroom they conduct exercises for various muscle groups, for their stretching and relaxation, and also study dance movements and exercises with objects. Held three times a week for 1.5 hours, the form and inventory must be purchased by parents.
Aikido, judo and wushu
All these sections are gaining children from 4-5 years. Restrictions on health: myopia, diseases or heart defects, kidney disease, as well as after serious injuries, bruises or operations.
Classes are held 2-3 times a week for 1.5 hours. First, they conduct classes in general physical training, and then they teach elementary techniques. A form for beginners is not needed, and then acquire special costumes. Classes of these types of struggle are well suited for children who often suffer from acute respiratory infections, acute respiratory viral infections or asthmatic children.
What kind of sport to prefer – choose you. But let it be a sports school, in which there will be a competent and qualified specialist. Talk with your friends, ask where they study and what their teacher is, how satisfied they are with them.
It is better to take a kid with someone from his friends to classes, so it will be easier for them to get used to unfamiliar surroundings. For health reasons, be sure to consult with a doctor you trust.
And most importantly, ask the child what he wants. Of course, in 3-4 years he will tell you that he wants nothing or, on the contrary, he wants everything. Therefore, you can lead him into several sections at once, and then choose the one that he liked.
