I have two children – twin girls Agnes and Yesenia. They like to do various crafts – to draw, sculpt, make applications. Moreover, despite the fact that my daughters are twins, they always choose different subjects for their applications.
For example, we recently cut out various geometric shapes from colored paper and laid out houses from them. The girls sat at the same table and vigorously discussed their every action. Agneshi turned out to be a classic rectangular house of yellow color with a green triangular roof.
And Yesenia built a fantastic round house of purple color with an orange roof in the form of an oval. By the way, the application of arbitrary shapes we did for the first time. I came to the conclusion that this kind of creativity better develops the imagination of children than ready-made kits for applications.
And girls like to make applications from cotton pads. They make funny snowmen, flowers, birds, seals. And if you fantasize and fold the disc before you stick it, the figure will turn out to be voluminous.
Girls always sign their crafts and give each other, us – parents, or grandparents. These are wonderful and simple gifts made with warmth and love. I try to keep all the creative work of my girls. I think it will be nice for them in 15-20 years to look at their first masterpieces!
