My children are very fond of coloring. The son and daughter have an age difference of as much as 4 years, but it does not prevent them from having the same hobbies. Daughters 8 years. She likes challenging coloring with lots of little details. A year ago, she liked princesses, but now her tastes have changed. She likes fantasy: fairies, elves and other creatures.
And the son is only 4 years old. He also enjoys coloring pictures. But his tastes are, of course, completely different. He likes cars, airplanes, robots, locomotives. He paints still not too neatly: he strokes in different directions, and often goes beyond the lines.
And every time my son gets upset that he doesn’t come out to paint as beautifully as his sister’s. But we support him in every way, praise his work, hang them on the walls and on the fridge and admire as we pass by.
I noticed that the price of coloring in stores is unreasonably high. Often, coloring on 8 sheets is more expensive than a school notebook with a thick cover! Therefore, I began to print them myself: I select the appropriate pictures on the Internet, save them in one folder, and then my son and I choose what he will paint today.
Coloring is a great way to spend your free time with benefit, because this type of creativity develops fine motor skills, perseverance and creativity.
