I am the mother of two wonderful twin daughters. They are 7 years old. My daughters love to solve riddles. From early childhood I developed observant mind with the help of riddles.
It all started when I once cleaned onions in the kitchen and told my girls a riddle about him. They went through the answers for a long time, but in the end, I explained to the little helpers how to solve riddles and what to pay attention to. Daughters then was 4 years old. Since then, riddles are our favorite entertainment.
I began to buy books with riddles. And instead of fairy tales for the night, the little ones demanded to play with them. I always picked up puzzles for the season and in accordance with what we are doing at this moment.
We go to the garden – I think about the path, trees, clouds, an umbrella in bad weather and snowflakes in the winter and leaf fall in the autumn. There are riddles in the kitchen about dishes and food.
When we were preparing for school, naturally, I was looking for riddles about school, textbooks and everything connected with it. It’s good that now there is a lot of information on the Internet and you can find riddles on any topic.
The daughters themselves can riddle each other. And my husband and I, too, sometimes throw up interesting versions of known riddles. They remake them in their own way. But we, adults, play along, we are surprised, we pretend that we think for a long time, and still we guess.
