Coagulogram in pregnancy: transcript, norm
Pregnancy is a happy period in a woman’s life, but at the same time very difficult. The maternal body has to undergo enormous loads and undergo serious changes. In order for a healthy baby to appear, it is necessary to monitor the condition of all organs, and therefore the future mother has to undergo a lot of tests and take various tests. For example, it is necessary to clearly know in what state the coagulating blood system is located, an analysis such as a coagulogram helps to reveal this information. By the way, it is worth paying attention to this type of examination at the planning stage of pregnancy.
Coagulogram is a rather complex analysis that gives sufficiently detailed information about the state of the hemostasis system (coagulability of the blood), allows to reveal various disorders in its work (increase or decrease in coagulability), so in another way the study is called a haemostasiogram. Hemostasis works in such a way that the blood is constantly in a normal state: some processes thicken it so that there is no bleeding in the event of any damage to the vessels, others – dilute it, preventing the formation of blockage of blood vessels.
Hemostasis undergoes various changes during pregnancy. The woman’s body naturally adapts to the appearance of an additional circle of blood circulation, which must ensure the fetal nutrition in the womb. The future mother also increases the volume of blood, and the hemostasis system physiologically prepares for possible blood loss during delivery.
