Anna Khilkevich: I felt like a bad mom
A year ago, actress Anna Khilkevich became a mother. We talk to her on the way to Univer’s shooting. She has no other time to interview.
Despite the hard schedule, Anna Khilkevich looks wonderful. It’s hard to believe that during the pregnancy, Anna Khilkevich scored 18 kilograms.
Anna talked about partner births, as well as how she coped with postpartum depression and established relationships with her husband.
Anna, do you remember the moment when you learned that you are expecting a child?
I was in a manicure salon. I did the test. And the first to whom I reported the results … it’s my manicurist! (Laughs.) And then Arthur! (Arthur Volkov, businessman, the actress’s husband.) – Author’s note.
I sent him a photo of the pregnancy test. It was necessary to wait for the evening, to tell him this news in person, but I could not resist!
He was happy! It was a planned pregnancy.
I then had a big break in filming Univer, a ten-month vacation, we all calculated and decided to try. Everything turned out well.
How did you prepare for the birth of the baby?
I attended courses for future mothers, read special literature, listened to classical music. I wanted to be a beautiful mother. I painted hair, nails, periodically wore heels, until the last month of pregnancy.
And everything was fine with me.
You wanted Arthur to be present at birth?
I was originally for partner birth, but Arthur doubted. In the maternity home, we chose a home birth.
My husband and I had a two-room suite like a hotel: in one room there is a bed, a TV set, and the second one is equipped for the birth itself, there all the necessary equipment. It’s only when it all began, I realized that I do not want her husband to be around.
When I had attempts, I saw his face full of pain and compassion. This made me even worse.
As a result, Arthur waited in the next room and went into the room when the baby was born. We all embraced and wept.
And what did Arthur give you for the birth of a child?
As a real oriental man, he presented jewelry. Necklace with earrings and another pair of earrings.
How did you choose a name for your daughter?
We immediately chose the man’s name: Mark. With the female is more difficult.
First they wanted to call Eve. But now every third girl in the kindergarten is Eva. Then I proposed the name Rihanna.
