I learned about my pregnancy a month later, this was indicated not only by the absence of red calendar days, but also by the presence of dizziness, lack of air, tinnitus, my whitish face, as if on a snow-white sheet, my mouth and eyes, and in addition more frequent heartbeats.
Oh, and how I liked the smell of fresh gas at gas stations at that time! I loved being on them then.
Getting registered in the LCD, I was quickly examined. It turned out that hemoglobin levels are too low in the blood. Anemia is the name of such a condition of the body when there is a lack of trace element iron, which helps oxygen to enter the tissues.
Since the pregnancy was difficult, they advised to sleep, it is first of all. And walking is the second. Since the body did not have enough air, it is better not to ride the subway, and there is practically no oxygen there.
Winter was coming, alone and without a goal, I didn’t like to walk. And there is no need to go to the store every day. Then I began to meet my husband in the evening from work. From the subway to the house, walk for about 25 minutes. So I went to the subway, and from there, together with my husband, we went home to have supper together.
Before me still stands that our friendly time and the ritual of returning home together. Around the snow, sometimes blizzard, wind, and we go with her husband and sing songs. So we were united by these joint walks from the metro to the house!
I note that we shouted the songs not in a quiet country location, but near Prospekt Vernadskogo metro station, where they rented an apartment. And even my shy husband didn’t care what people thought, we were happy!
And I love to sleep so! So there were no problems with this.
When I didn’t feel very strong at all, even for a walk to the subway, I waited for my husband with dinner at home, and he brought me delicious food that helped me rehabilitate and walk the next day.
To increase the iron content in the body, I was advised to eat beef tongue and beef. My daughter, by the way, just adores him, as does the pomegranate, which increases hemoglobin and is very to my taste.
Green apples also help to cope with anemia well, I pressed them too, and my daughter again pushes them now. I don’t like fruits at all, except for a pomegranate, but in the name of the child I was ready to eat them. She didn’t choke through force, but still ate them more than in the rest of her life.

Because my body needed oxygen now much more than before pregnancy: for the necessary development of the placenta, the internal organs of the baby; the amount of iron absorbed from the food was insufficient.
And the doctor prescribed an iron supplement for me, but only starting from the second trimester of pregnancy. And for its better digestibility of folic acid, as well as ascorbic. I began to take them regularly.
And as soon as I threw this thing out of dislike for pills, the level of hemoglobin in the blood fell below the usual my norm, and my weakness and lethargy again made themselves felt.
As Paracelsus said: Every substance is poison and medicine at the same time, it is only in quantity. And I began to take iron supplements 3 times a week, the effect remained, and for side effects, I reduced the chances significantly.
Over time, I began to feel more strength in myself, the need to sleep with the woodchuck passed all the days. And she began to enjoy life more and more, enjoying the pregnancy and familiarizing her husband every week with the development of the baby in her tummy.
