Despite its interesting position, most pregnant women are forced to work. Many of them have office work directly related to the computer.

I know by myself that when you are in a beautiful position, you worry about everything: what to eat, how to sleep and other things. And work at the computer, or rather the question whether it will affect the baby’s health in a negative way, too.

Not so scary, as we imagine

I would like to talk about my experience. Being a second time pregnant, by the nature of my work, I spend almost the whole day at the computer. It really is.

From early morning until late evening I load up with work. Sometimes you have to work at night. Benefit the health of the future baby and my health is unlikely to bring, but as they say – I always want to eat, and for this you need money.

When I got pregnant for the first time, I remember it worried me a lot. I worked for a laptop that was constantly at the level of my stomach.

I read many articles on this topic, trying to figure out for myself how this will affect the health of the child. Just want to say that the baby was born healthy. It grows well and develops, very intelligent and active.

It is me that apparently there are still no frightening factors influencing the fetus. But I have identified for myself a number of facts that may be of interest to you.

Not a computer, but sitting work is harmful

The computer itself or the monitor does not emit radio waves. Around him there is only an electromagnetic field, exactly the same as, for example, around a refrigerator or a microwave oven. Therefore, you should not be afraid of him, because we cannot remove ourselves from all home appliances.

Another thing is important. Long-term work at the computer is really harmful, but rather not for the future baby, but for the mother. The health of a pregnant woman is very vulnerable. Many have noticed a worsening of the disease during this period due to a weakened immune system.

The computer adversely affects the health of the eyes, so all pregnant women should avoid prolonged sitting near the monitor.

A long-term sitting position has a significant effect on blood circulation and metabolism. No wonder we heard about obesity, which often occurs due to inactive work.

During pregnancy, it affects the blood circulation in the pelvis and abdominal organs. Including the uterus.

For example, I compensated for my stay at the computer with evening walks. I tried to walk for at least thirty minutes a day. I did not have the opportunity to warm up in the office, but I could always stand up and stretch somewhere in the corner.

Separately, I want to mention a delicate moment. It is known that sedentary work is the way to hemorrhoids. Most women experience this problem after childbirth, especially those who have had ailments in this regard before. Therefore, long-term stay at the computer only contributes to the development of the disease.

Proper nutrition – the key to ease the process of childbirth

In order not to gain excess weight, of course, you need not to overeat. It should be understood that immobility is the minimum cost of energy. In the first pregnancy, I carefully watched nutrition. I did not starve or limit myself. She simply ruled out the various sweets that most women love, eating more berries and fruits.

During the entire pregnancy, by the way, I gained only 8 kg, which I easily got rid of later. Moreover, it facilitates childbirth, because a moderately heavy child who did not receive anything superfluous while in the tummy will be born with minimal injuries for the mother.

What really bothered and worried me now is back pain. The second pregnancy and a similar situation – the need to work at the computer. On myself, I felt all the negative sides of a sitting position. The back often hurts so that walking is difficult. Fortunately, my husband is an understanding person, he also finished once a course of a massage therapist, appeasing me with evening massage procedures.

For those who are really worried about the back, I highly recommend at least doing gymnastics for pregnant women or going to the pool. After all, with the birth of a child, the disease will only escalate. The need for frequent carrying and holding the child in the hands can greatly aggravate the situation of osteochondrosis, scoliosis, etc. I know firsthand.
