Up to about 33 weeks of pregnancy, the baby often changes its posture, it can roll over, take the buttock, knee or transverse presentation. After 33-34 weeks, he will reach maximum sizes and fall below, which will no longer give him so much freedom and liberties. The baby will take the position on which the process of childbirth will largely depend.
The correct presentation of the fetus is considered correct. This position provides a more physiological process of childbirth without complications.
A baby’s breech presentation is when his buttocks and feet are directed toward the pelvis. In this position, it seems that the baby is sitting in the stomach. Knee – when the knees of the fetus are presented to the entrance to the pelvis. Both of these provisions are related to pelvic presentation.
The transverse position of the kids is extremely rare, in about 1% of cases. In this case, it is safer for a woman to make a cesarean, because the outcome of natural childbirth can be unpredictable.
I remember when I was kept in the hospital, there were 6 of us in the ward. All terms were different – from 12 to 30 weeks. I and two other girls had a term of 26-28 weeks. We constantly shared feelings with each other. I still could not understand where my girl is located, then, as others constantly said, he is sitting now, he turned, raised his hand, foot and so on.
I learned about the position of the child only from the doctor. She almost always lay my head down. No matter how much I touched, I could not find her. The doctor had enough minutes to determine almost the diameter of the head.
Abdominal shape and fetal position
The shape of the abdomen with the naked eye can only determine the transverse presentation. It will look like an oval, turned on its side. A doctor in the form of the abdomen may notice other signs indicating changes in the position of the fetus.
If the doctor suspected one of these phenomena before childbirth, he will definitely prescribe an additional ultrasound to the woman.
Ordinary people in the form of the abdomen predict the sex of the child. That, in my opinion, is completely untrue. For example, I was constantly told that I would have a boy, and there was a girl there.
In general, I always wondered how my baby lived there, what she does and where she is now. She was very active, maybe that’s why I couldn’t understand where her hand was and where she was. Twisted so that the entanglement of the umbilical cord then appeared, then disappeared. Before the very birth, she was unraveled, thank God.
Sometimes she would kick so that some organs go numb, often falling into the liver. Probably, when the fetus is 33 weeks old and older, lies in some other position, the woman experiences slightly different sensations, since his legs are directed to the other side and he touches other organs.
And how did your baby lay and what did you experience?
