The health and the formation of her child depend on what a pregnant woman will eat, because the organism of the future mother and her baby are one whole. That is why it is very important to stick to a diet, especially in the first trimester, when the child lays all organs and organ systems.
Diet for pregnant women is good because it does not provide for any strict restrictions, counting calories and so on. Every woman is gaining weight by carrying a baby, it is absolutely natural, and you should not try to lose weight during pregnancy. However, to bloom, hiding behind pregnancy, there is everything and in large quantities, too, not worth it.
It is necessary to exclude from the diet fried, spicy, smoked, alcohol, chips, canned food, strong tea and coffee, forget about McDonalds, replace soda with fresh juices or mineral water, and mayonnaise – with sour cream or vegetable oil.
By violating the simplest rules, by not agreeing to restrict ourselves, we destroy the still unformed liver of our unborn child. In addition, it is not recommended to eat gas-generating products – cabbage, beans, peas, peanuts, grapes, etc.
In the second half of pregnancy, doctors advise to limit high-calorie foods: jam, candy, ice cream, chocolate, cakes.
Experts also recommend eating as varied as possible, limiting the diet sweet and flour, eating carbohydrates in a different, more useful form.
And here’s another advice from doctors – to eliminate strawberries, citrus fruits and other possible allergens from the diet – I did not observe in any of my pregnancies. And I naively believe that this is why my children did not suffer from allergies to any products, because accustomed to everything else in the prenatal period.
What makes the digestive tract work well?
Many women in pregnancy experience difficulties associated with the work of the intestine. This is due to the fact that the enlarged uterus puts pressure on the intestinal loops, making it difficult for them to work and causing constipation.
For the future mother, it is very important that the digestive system works well and is cleansed on time, so she needs help by eating fresh fruits and raw vegetables every day — a source of living vitamins. By the way, I was surprised to learn that an ordinary potato, it turns out, is very useful for the future baby, because contains a large amount of folic acid, important for the development of the child.
For the timely work of the intestine prunes and dried apricots, bran bread and kefir are useful.
There is better often, but in small portions – so we will help ourselves to get rid of the attacks of heartburn, so often tormenting pregnant women.
Necessary and useful products during pregnancy
Protein food of animal origin: white poultry, beef, veal, fish, eggs, dairy products. Proteins – the building material for the formation of the fetus, a source of essential amino acids, vitamins and trace elements.
Products of plant origin: oats, legumes, buckwheat, rice, bread, vegetables, fruits, greens – sources of vitamins, microelements, carbohydrates.
Fats: butter, vegetable oils (preferably unrefined) – sunflower, olive.
