When I got pregnant, I, like all pregnant women, wanted something like that. From drinks, I really like tea, but during pregnancy I turned away from him. I wanted something sour: compote, fruit drink, juice. I remembered that in the cellar I have cranberry syrup.
Several years ago we went to the forest to the marsh for cranberries and scored an incredible amount of it. That autumn, I made everything I could from cranberries: froze, close compote, grind with sugar, and even make mashed potatoes and squeeze juice. Or rather, she didn’t squeeze, but drove through a juice cooker. It is from this juice that I made the syrup. It turned out a lot and we did not have enough for one year.
Per liter of cranberry juice you need to take a kilogram of granulated sugar (can be fructose) and 0.3 liters of water. Stir to warm, pour into cans or bottles. Sterilize and cork. You can, of course, do without water, but then it can turn out not syrup, but jelly.
