My husband and I planned a child when I was 22 years old, and he was 24. I always thought that getting pregnant was very easy and only once, but it was not there. It took us about a year. At the same time, my husband and I did not have any abnormalities and health problems, the reason as it turned out, lay within me, or rather in the structure of my reproductive system.
And finally, a miracle happened. At the moment when the next menstrual period was to come, I discovered that I was pregnant. My happiness knew no bounds, and on the same day I shared such an important event with my husband.
In the near future I was to visit a gynecologist, which I did immediately. But the gynecologist said that it was early to state the pregnancy, at that time it was about 3 weeks of pregnancy. But I knew for sure that I was pregnant, female intuition did not let me down. This moment coincided with the Christmas holidays, so I decided not to drink alcohol and limit myself to food.
The next time I was at the gynecologist in 8 weeks. Then I became registered in the antenatal clinic. Now I had to visit the gynecologist once every two weeks, get tested and wait for the miracle to come into the world. Then we decided to tell my husband about the pregnancy to parents who were very happy that they would soon have a grandson or granddaughter.
At the beginning of the second trimester, I was prescribed the first ultrasound. But the information received on it did not make me happy. Ultrasound showed the possibility of miscarriage. Then the doctor prescribed me medication and prescribed a sick-list.
About 2 weeks I lay at home. And during that time she had had a cold. But, thank God, everything was fine, now my baby was fine. I continued to work and wait, when at last my baby will make itself known.
And where at 18 weeks I felt like he kicked me in the tummy. It was so wonderful, just an unforgettable feeling. Since then, I felt it every day, and every day his movements grew and became more frequent. I talked to him, read fairy tales to him, sang songs and it all gave me great pleasure.
On the second ultrasound, it was already possible to determine the sex of the child, but our baby was in no hurry to tell about it (about the fact that we will have a boy, my husband and I learned only on the third and last ultrasound). But we became aware of the child’s weight – 400 grams. Although he was so small, but he was already a little man and I felt him with all my heart and soul.
My tummy gradually increased and rounded. Now trips to the gynecologist and testing have become frequent, once a week. At work, I first switched to half a working day, a couple of months before going to the decree. Female consultation is half an hour from home, so a walk there was doubly useful.
On the third ultrasound, there were some minor problems with the baby. He did not have enough air, and so I was prescribed a couple of shots and ozone therapy. And this time everything went well. Now he weighed 2.2 kg. And the first time I saw his outlines in an image taken with an ultrasound.
Before the birth left quite a bit. It became harder to move, swollen legs, slept only on the right and left side, back terribly hurt, constantly went to the toilet. But all this stuff compared to the process of childbirth.
Last week before giving birth
4 days before the birth, the mother-in-law identified me in the prenatal maternity ward. There I was made preparatory drip, checked the baby’s heartbeat. In general, I was under the supervision of doctors and I was impatient to finally give birth.
I really wanted a lion boy, then he should have been born no later than August 22. According to my terms, he was to be born on August 21, according to the terms of the ultrasound and gynecologist no earlier than August 28-30.
And so it happened, exactly at 9.15 am on August 22, our boy was born. He was so small, only 3030 kg, and this was our long-awaited child, our Daniel.
