Sour cabbage for weight loss – 4 kg in 2 weeks, how to become slim

At one time I was very fond of various diets, tried to lose the hated extra pounds. There were only five of them, but my body did not want to part with them. Neither exercise nor a restriction in high-calorie foods did not give the desired results.

In one of the magazines I read about a diet based on eating sauerkraut. Since I really love this dish, and the results at the end of this diet promised amazing, I decided to try.

It is believed that sauerkraut is much more useful than raw. This opinion is due to the fact that in the process of fermentation from the cabbage lactic acid bacteria are released, which are a kind of preservative of all the useful substances and trace elements in the product.

Due to the large amount of vitamin C, cabbage strengthens the immune system. And B vitamins have a beneficial effect on the nervous system.

Nutritionists advise to exclude products such as:

– confectionery
– potato dishes
– alcoholic drinks
– fried, smoked food
– flour products

I admit that it was very difficult for me to refuse dishes from my favorite potatoes, especially in those days when my husband asked for fried potatoes for dinner. I refused other products quickly and without problems.

I confess that in order to get a quick result I wanted to eat one sauerkraut, but after talking with a familiar gastroenterologist, I realized that I was wrong. As it turned out, it is very easy to earn problems with the work of the gastrointestinal tract, using only sauerkraut.

In order to avoid such problems and fill the body with essential substances, sauerkraut must be eaten in combination with protein products or carbohydrates. I combined it with such products:

– eggs
– boiled chicken fillet
– baked or boiled sea fish
– buckwheat
– rice

I confess that I did not succeed in following the strictly cabbage diet. Although I love this dish, but it turned out to be very hard to eat daily. On average, I ate 15-200 grams of sauerkraut every other day. As you know, the lowest calorie meal should be before bedtime, so I tried to eat cabbage for dinner.

It took me two weeks to lose 4 kg. Since I tend to be overweight, I try to spend such cabbage days once a week in order to keep myself in shape.
