Proper fitness or pumping out money, sports and an active lifestyle

This summer I had the opportunity to go to work as a trainer in the well-known network of women’s fitness clubs. But my soul didn’t have something for this, although I really like the coaching business. Now, continuing to collect information on this topic, I was finally able to formulate where skepticism came from.
Play on weakness

And I was embarrassed by the fact that their whole system was a complete profanation in terms of weight loss, and most importantly, physical exertion. The training scheme is as follows: the simulators stand in a circle interspersed with the platforms, and they are constantly undergoing a training process. That is, comes a new client, and is included in the work of the rest.

It seems to be such a circular training: a minute – a simulator, a minute – cardiadload, a simulator again, a cardio again, etc. One of my friends was somehow impressed: This is awesome! Behind this is the future! You work a little and you are already choking. But the mere increase in pulse rate is not an indicator of effective training.

On the one hand, the principles of these clubs are based on the correct principles: training should take at least half an hour, and for efficiency, power and cardiovascular loads should be alternated. But they are implemented exclusively for the benefit of the client so that this same client does not strain too much.

Where is the sequence of exercises from simple to complex? Where is learning the technique of doing and then increasing the load? In the end, where is the individual approach to each organism? Moreover, during the training I didn’t even notice such a fundamental thing as a warm-up.


But I saw how an overweight aunt was doing a static exercise, loading the thigh muscles. Statics is a very dangerous thing, especially for hypertensive patients, who are many among overweight people. But at the end, the aunt received her free cocktail and was very pleased with herself.

In general, it is difficult to speak about the competent organization of the training process. But what about the promises to train customers to the desired slimming effect? Very simple. Initially, you are given nutritional advice, which can be freely found on the Internet.

And be sure to weigh you every day. If you do not lose weight, then you do not follow the recommendations. It is logical, because 80% of the effectiveness of weight loss depends on nutrition – a scientifically proven fact. And do not carp that much money for a subscription taken on empty commitments.

Not so sad

Of course, one cannot say that there is no sense at all from this club. In any case, at least some kind of physical activity is better than none at all. So, the aunts at least know for sure that if they don’t go in for work, they will lose money. Tear off from the TV and still go, at least somehow fats chase.

Plus is a kind of communication in the circle of new people with whom they are connected by common interests. Such a party and a pleasant pastime. But is it ethical to take big money by placing accents on other women’s weaknesses?
