Probably nothing causes so much contradictory feelings in me, like the question of dinner. On the one hand, I heard many positive reviews about how easy it is to lose weight if you refuse to eat after 18.00.
But on the other hand, having experimented with a dinner exactly a week, I realized that the joke We do not eat after 18.00 … we eat after 22.00 was not quite a joke, but an exact description of my actions! 😉
It was in the evening that my appetite was awakening, and a glass of kefir or an apple did not want to save me – I would need a sandwich with butter and cheese, and preferably not one! But to preserve the slimness so want!
What to do?
In general, it was necessary to fight – either with the desire to eat, or with the desire to be thin, and it is simply impossible to fight with neither one nor the other. Therefore, my cunning plan has ripened – to keep both the dinner and the figure;)
And in order to put this plan into action, I made the rules for a safe dinner, moreover, I had already managed to check it for myself.
1. Dinner 3-4 hours before bedtime.. Since I go to bed late, the rule is not to eat after 6 for me does not work at all. My husband and I sometimes only gather at home after the working day closer to 20.00. Therefore, the optimal time for the last meal in our family is about 9 pm. In addition, after dinner, we often go outside for a walk – this is almost a daily ritual.
It is also considered that the most optimal break between dinner and breakfast is 9 hours. If it lasts more (for example, as I had when the last meal was at 18.00, and breakfast was at 10.00, then the break was 16 hours!), In this case, such problems as constipation and gastritis may begin, and this is me for sure! 😉
2. Dinner with the right foods., those. those that do not lead to fat deposition. The best are fermented milk products, steamed and boiled vegetables, light protein meals and bananas. But my favorite sweets, candy, cookies, cakes, and indeed I completely excluded any flour and fatty food, but only from dinner. Up to 12 days, I allow myself some harmful sweets, but very tiny.
3. Volume and calorie dinner. To avoid the desire to overeat in the evening, you need to eat fully throughout the day, properly distributing the volume and calorie dishes. It is believed that dinner should account for about 25% of the daily calories, and especially high-calorie meals should be for breakfast and lunch.
At night, during sleep, all the natural processes in our body slow down, including the digestion of food. Therefore, a long stay of food in the stomach and intestines leads to fermentation and rotting processes, due to which a very large amount of decomposition products can enter the blood.
And as a result of the meal before bedtime – extra pounds appear, sleep is disturbed, the skin condition deteriorates. In addition, if you go to bed immediately after dinner, you feel heaviness in the stomach, and because of this you can not immediately fall asleep. Yes, and in the morning the feeling of heaviness does not always pass.
Exhausting myself with hunger in the evenings I am not strong enough;) Therefore, a light, low-calorie dinner, 3 hours before bedtime, became my assistant in the fight against obesity and bouts of evening gluttony.
