Dyukan’s diet: lose weight like a princess, how to become slim

Which bride does not want to lose weight for the wedding? Stupid question, isn’t it ?! And if we add to this the fact that the whole world will look at your wedding. All in all, Kate Middleton did it! Turned exactly to his marriage in a transparent, weightless grace.

If she can, why shouldn’t I try? – I wondered, wiping away tears of emotion after viewing the wedding ceremony. Why am I worse than the newly appeared Duchess of Cambridge ?!

The secret of Kate Middleton’s diet, fortunately, was not encrypted by British intelligence. On the Internet, the Dukan diet (on behalf of the doctor who developed it) flashed almost everywhere. It is understandable, not only I watch TV.

So, I share with you the experience. The diet consists of four stages: attack, cruise, consolidation and stabilization.

At the point of attack

The most brutal of them – the attack. The menu should be dominated by protein foods. Welcome is given to turkey and chicken meat, any fish cooked without butter, lean ham, calf liver and seafood, eggs, low-fat dairy products.

It is also necessary to consume 1,5st / l of oats bran per day. As a meat-eater, I was delighted … This is not a leaf for cabbage for breakfast and a glass of kefir for dinner, but you can say full-fledged food.

The duration of the attack depends on the excess weight. My surplus was 11 kg. This means they had to attack from three to five days. If your weight is from 20 to 30 kg – the attack should last 5-7 days, and with a weight of more than 30 kg – 5-10 days. Attention, ladies who love to torture themselves: more than 10 days to attack your body is prohibited!


At the beginning of the attack stage, my weight was 71 kg. with height 165 cm. For greater efficiency, I decided to stick to the first stage of the diet for 5 days.

On the first day everything went like clockwork. For breakfast I ate boiled chicken and egg, dined stewed veal, and for dinner I ate baked fish and drank a glass of nonfat kefir.

On the second day, the enthusiasm diminished. Chicken again? And what would you like a salad, an apple or a piece of chocolate. But these things in the Dukan diet are strict taboos. I felt a slight breakdown, apparently due to a lack of carbohydrates. There was dry mouth and a feeling of unpleasant smell. About these symptoms, Dr. Ducan warns. They do not foretell anything terrible. On the scales, I did not become important. I decided to do it at the end of the first week.

On the third day I felt a complete apathy towards life, and, above all, towards work. With envy in her eyes, she looked at people who put salads, spaghetti, and desserts in a cafe. The crunch of an apple was painfully given in the ear membranes. Awful like vegetables and fruits.

I decided to reduce the attack to four days, since I no longer had the strength to endure a lack of carbohydrates. On the fourth day I could not resist and ate half an apple. How tasty it seemed to me!

The fifth day I was marked by the beginning of the second stage – the cruise, where the vegetable along with the protein one had to alternate with the protein diet. Protein days made me terrified, but in a mix with vegetables – the opposite. The duration of the cruise, as they say, until it stops, that is, until you reach the ideal weight.

On the first day of the cruise, I still got on the scales and, frankly, was very surprised. In five days, 4 kg evaporated. This result did not give me a single diet! The body, exhausted by the lack of carbohydrates, was resurrected. Again, the strength to continue on. Having lasted the first week (5 days of attack and 2 cruises), I was happy to diagnose minus 5 kilograms.

But I want to note that then the rate of weight loss began to decline. The second week of the French diet brought me a minus 3 kg, and the third – minus 2.5.

Total, on the attack, I lasted 5 days with a score of 4 kg., And the cruise took me 16 days with a loss of 6.5 kg. Overall: 11.5 kg.

I fix the result

Now I am in the midst of the Fixation stage. It combines the products of the first and second stages, and also allows once a week to make a feast to the stomach, that is, there is everything that the soul wishes. For every kilogram of weight lost, ten days of fixing are needed. I get 110 days. There is still a lot ahead … But it is easier to withstand this stage.

After completing the cruise, I weighed 59.5 kg. Now, being on the 43rd bottom of fixing, the arrow of the scale shows 62.5. Surely, those little indulgences that I began to give myself more often lately, are making themselves felt. Once a week, as required by the diet, arrange a protein day. After it, the weights arrow is again sent back.

I hope that I will safely reach the last, fourth stage – Stabilization. It should last for the rest of its life, as it represents the whole system of healthy nutrition. And the main barrier to overweight is one protein day, which you should sometimes arrange for your body.

I can say that the Dukan Diet is definitely my diet. She went to my body and helped get rid of 10 pounds of fat. Thank you, Mrs. Kate for a good example, and good luck to everyone else!
