There is not much time left before the New Year, and I, a passionate lover of weight loss and experimentation, decided to try a new diet for myself to lose a few kilos and be in shape on a festive night.
But too extreme and starvation diets, in order to preserve the health of my psyche, I did not use. I needed something non-starving and not very long. Therefore, my choice fell on a diet of 6 petals, which promised to save 2-4 kg in 6 days. It was just what you need.
The author of the 6-petal diet, a Swedish nutritionist, Anna Johansson, advises for clarity and an additional incentive to depict a flower with 6 petals, which will mean every day diet.
Each petal must be numbered and signed, so as not to get confused, and at the end of each day tear off one such petal. Indeed, each cut petal in this dietary flower brings a sense of its own satisfaction and respect for itself.
Day 1. Fish. You can eat fish in any form – boiled, stewed, baked. You can ear or aspic. I had a mackerel – for breakfast and boiled lunch, for dinner – baked.
Day 2. Vegetable. Any vegetables in any form and freshly squeezed vegetable juices. On this day, I diversified my menu: vinaigrette, stewed vegetable mix Mexican and stewed cabbage and salad from fresh cabbage.
Day 3. Chicken. It is allowed to eat only chicken breast without skin, but also in any form – boiled, baked or stewed. Can chicken broth, greens.
Day 4. Cereal. You can use any kind of cereals, cereals, germinated seeds, cereal loaves, bran. Porridge can be slightly salted, and you can also add greens. Kvass is allowed on this day.
Day 5. Cottage cheese. You can eat skim cheese, 5% or 9% fat, and low-fat milk. I also used low-fat yogurt.
Day 6. Fruit. Any fruit and fruit juices. In my opinion, this is the most delicious day 🙂
During the diet, you need to give up sugar, sweets, chocolate, bread, butter. All used products must be of high quality and fresh. You also need to drink plenty of water, green and herbal tea, but for the time being it is better to refuse coffee.
Easy and effective. What’s the secret?
Diet 6 petals, in fact, is a mono-diet related to separate feeding. After all, using the product prescribed in a particular day, we do not mix them with other products that are incompatible with each other.
Protein-carbohydrate alternation. The author of the diet assures that successful weight loss is largely due to this alternation. And in fact – the first day – protein (fish), the second carbohydrates (vegetables). Then again protein (chicken), and then again carbohydrates (cereals). And so all 6 days of a diet.
It is believed that such an alternation makes it possible to deceive the body, forcing it to expend fat, and not feel hungry.
Recommendations on which success depends
First, you should follow the sequence – you can not interchange the days.
Secondly, do not rush for the meal, but on the contrary, try to enjoy every bite.
Third, try to eat as often as possible, but in small portions.
And fourth, in the process of eating do not drink a lot of liquid, so as not to interfere with digestion. But between meals you can and even need to drink more.
I liked the diet, I managed to get rid of the extra two kg in 6 days, and I will definitely repeat it after the holidays.
