After giving birth, I, like most women, gained a few extra pounds. During the first year of the baby’s life, some of them evaporated by themselves, but the result at that time did not suit me. Therefore, I began to try all kinds of diets. I will tell about one of them.
I don’t really like monodiets, they are very difficult to move, and even then the body doesn’t return to normal, but there are exceptions to all the rules. The banana diet was very easy for me and with great benefit.

Bananas are practically leaders in the content of such a useful element as potassium. Therefore, this diet is indicated for people with hypertension. Bananas also contain magnesium, and it helps reduce the excitability of the nervous system and affects the processes of blood clotting.
Bananas also have a laxative and diuretic effect. These fruits affect the water-salt metabolism and contribute to the excretion of toxins and excess fluid. Bananas contain almost the full composition of vitamins: C, B1, B2, A, B6, E.
Banana diet helps to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood, due to the low fat content.
Indications for a banana diet
Banana diet is very soft and tasty. It is suitable for those who want to lose weight, who have problems with the intestines or the stomach, liver and kidney disease, a tendency to edema. It should be remembered that such a diet is categorically contraindicated for people with high blood sugar. Also refrain from banana mono-diet should be patients with varicose veins.
Before a banana diet, as indeed, before any other, it is imperative to spend a fasting day: give up smoked, salty, fried and fatty foods.
Types of banana diet
There are several types of banana diet. The most difficult of them allows you to eat only 4 bananas a day. Drink while you can only water. This type of banana diet is not recommended for more than three days.
My personal experience on this variant of the banana diet: -5 kg for three days. After the weight did not return.
There is a more benign version of the diet of bananas. During the day you can eat about 1.5 kg of bananas. Here you can drink not only water, but also green tea. By the way, they also do not need to be greatly abused, because green tea removes calcium from the body. Dinner with this version of the diet should be about three to four hours before bedtime.
The result of a banana diet is something like this: about seven kg are lost in a week. I only once sat on a strict banana diet, but after several years the weight did not return, moreover, I lost even more weight. Now I use bananas on fasting days, on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The diet is simple, easy to maintain and gives a good result. So I recommend it to everyone!
