Probably, many would agree that the most effective way to lose those extra pounds is a combination of healthy food and sports. But not all of us have time to practice in the gym, but we can change something in the eating habits.
It turns out that in the diet, too, there are habits that harm not only slimness, but sometimes health. However, as is often the case, the habits that have been developed over the years are not so easy to get rid of, and even bad habits are doubly more difficult. Therefore, I had to gather all my will and begin to eliminate some of these habits.
So, in order
Fast food. Of course, I am not a fan of hot dogs and street shawarma, but I still have one weakness. I, as a child, just can not get past McDonalds.
I understand with my mind that in every sandwich, hamburger and french fries there are full of unhealthy trans fats, which raise cholesterol and increase the risk of strokes, but there is no need to talk about the number of calories in one such portion. But to pass by this place I force myself to simply incredible efforts. Sometimes I am still tempted, although not as often as before.
Snacks. Nutritionists recommend to eat always at the same time, and the more often and more fragmented our food, the better for our metabolism. But, unfortunately, the lifestyle of a modern person does not always allow one to be at a dinner table in a relaxed atmosphere five times a day. Therefore, no snacking can not do.
Most of the time I used cookies and candy, a slice of cake or cake, as my sweet tooth seems to be invincible. But hardly confectionery products can be called a healthy diet, so they gradually had to be excluded from the diet.
Now I try to eat nuts, white sorts of cheese, fruits and dried fruits. And if you really want candy, then buy the least harmful – prunes in chocolate.
And a habit
Food in front of the TV. This is another habit that I had to fight long and hard. While watching TV, attention is focused not on food, but on the screen, so it is likely to eat more.
Besides, I noticed that this habit already produces some kind of reflex: if you sit down to watch your favorite movie, you definitely need to chew something, no matter what, at least something, and you want to chew for two whole hours while the movie is going.
On the other hand, if we dine with the husband together, then I don’t pull to the TV. On the contrary, I want to enjoy both food and socializing with each other, because we work in different shifts, and joint dinners rarely fall out. And in those rare cases when we have the same weekend, I try to plan things out so that I have to have breakfast, lunch and dinner together.
Without applying a sharp, radical and rigid diets, and smoothly changing their eating habits, you can not only get rid of excess weight, but also improve their health and maintain health. Having given up bad habits and made certain adjustments to my diet, I was able to lose 5 kg in 3-4 months.
