The end of summer this year turned out well, very hot. Only at night the thermometer mark shows less than 30 degrees. I know that many do not tolerate the heat and secretly dream of autumn: pleasant coolness and drizzling rain. But I am a heat-loving person: even at 35 degrees in the shade I feel quite comfortable. In any case, better than in the fall.
I admit that I do not like autumn. Therefore, I try to extract the maximum benefit and pleasure from the summer heat. Several times a week we go to the beach with the whole family. Sometimes we take along friends. And sometimes a big company gets out to the dacha: fry kebabs, drink soft drinks, play badminton and swim in the lake.
Recently, a country house neighbor treated me to very tasty mint lemonade. I liked this simple drink so much that I cooked it twice a week! I want to share the recipe with you.
For the preparation will need 2 lemons, 3 tbsp. honey (I add a little less), a small bunch of mint and 1 liter of water.
Lemons should be washed and dusted with boiling water, cut into large pieces and grind together with the zest in a blender, after removing all the bones. Mint can be chopped with a knife or grind with lemons. Add honey and water to the resulting gruel, mix and cool. Can be served at the table!
As you see, such a drink is prepared quickly, but it turns out to be incredibly tasty, healthy and, importantly, low-calorie!
Dear readers, and what diet drinks do you cook in the summer?
