It so happened that I often had to travel with a child. Perhaps my experience is useful to someone else.
Over bumps, over bumps, along narrow paths …
When my daughter was 6 months old – we went on a journey by car through the Far East. I say at once: if your baby is bottle-fed, choose another way to travel.
Be sure to teach the child to the child seat. It is safer and more comfortable.
When leaving the city, have with you not just enough, but an excess supply of food with a shelf life of at least 5 days, and, of course, water. If the car gets stuck somewhere or breaks down, you must have food and water with you.
Moreover, believe me, a pack of something edible bought in a store is better than patties bought on the highway. Grandmothers selling coffee and cakes along the roads may not coincide much with you in matters of hygiene and what to eat meat that you can eat.
Remember that many tracks are quite deserted, and the connection catches far from everywhere. For this reason, leaving point A, inform someone about the approximate time of arrival at point B. In order for you to stay, there was someone to make a fuss. As often as possible, tell this person about your location: drove to such a point, went down along the serpentine road, drove to a roadside cafe.
Carry a sufficient amount of wet wipes for the child, disposable diapers and general hygiene products for the baby. It is better to take a little more.
Do not forget about the packages under the garbage – you will not throw garbage right out the window, right?
Do not forget to stop every 2 hours and warm up – bending over, squats will help restore blood supply. Do not forget to do warm-up and child.
And yes, take some new toys and some favorite ones. The more functional they are, the better.
We also happened to ride the ferry. The main problem there was the need to move through the narrow and very unstable ladders, ladders.
Since the child was only six months old, the problem was solved simply – May-sling. It was possible to quietly look overboard, not being afraid that the child would make a sudden movement and I would not keep him. Frankly speaking, I had such a dream for a long time in nightmares, I was very afraid.
Perhaps, in the plane we had only two problems – this is food (the child is allergic) and, excuse me, the toilet.
Who flew domestic airlines, he knows what turns into a place of pilgrimage for passengers 2 hours after takeoff. Utter dirt Pre-purchased special coatings on the seat were not useful, because they would have to cover the entire booth.
For the first time diapers were rescued – then my daughter was 2 years old, persuaded her to them. The second time, the child courageously endured 9 hours, refusing to go there.
They coped with food more easily – they picked up fruit and cookies on the road. Fruit is better to take a variety, because the child, even if he loves apples, they can get bored. Fruits must be washed beforehand.
And be sure to take with hand gel and wet wipes.
Shoes use comfortable, easy to unfasten in flight. Clothes – free. Especially if it is a long flight.
When traveling by train, the main task is to provide the child with the necessary number of interesting toys. What exactly – depends on age. The main thing – not musical and not soiling clothes / linen / seating.
Take with you a classic set of hygiene products: hand gel, wet wipes, add to it special coverings for toilet seats.
Make sure that your shoes can be easily put on and off – use the shift as an option. Please explain to the child that it is impossible to walk there without shoes, otherwise you have a chance then to undergo a course of treatment for foot fungus (at best).
In any case, before you go on a trip, make a list of necessary things – this will greatly simplify the fees. If you or your child suffer from any diseases, take medicine with you. There is too little chance that in the event of an attack, the necessary medicines will be at hand.
Spread your bags into bags, depending on how likely you are. Bags with food and hygiene products should be the most accessible.
