And yet – the first year is the time when a child only gets to know the world, explores it and develops at an accelerated pace. What the child knows in the first three years of life is almost equal to the knowledge gained for the rest of his life.

From birth to three months
The peculiarity of the development of the infant’s psyche is that it is very closely connected with interaction and bodily contacts.
One of the main needs of a child of this age period is to hear. Talk with your baby, sing, play with intonations (positive!). Children of this age like singing high sounds and different voices, so get dads and other relatives to this method of communication. And even if the father will read the notes on jurisprudence – it is still good. And if he will sing these notes – just great. And learn, by the way, much faster.
Ideally, at this moment the child will see the speaker, however, given that the newborn sees well at a distance of about 30 cm, this is not always possible. You can put the child next to him, pick up, use the sling. If this is not possible, it would be nice to look at the baby at least sometimes, making eye contact.
It is also useful to play with the child using bright objects – this forms the tracking skill, and it is also an excellent exercise for the eyes. And if the toys still sound, then generally beautiful. You can also additionally hang a bright object above the bed – one will be enough if it can be moved.
In addition, it is necessary to remember also the development of fine motor skills of the baby and be sure to take it in your arms – the skin and skin contact is simply necessary for the baby!
Development up to six months
At this age, it is necessary to start a dialogue, seeking the response of the baby – laughter, stare, or perhaps mimic action.
You can play hide-and-seek by talking to a baby, but not showing it to your eyes — to stimulate the search for a source of sound. It will be good if the sounds are different, but not very loud.
At this time, it is important to diversify the world around the child: the sounds that he hears, the objects that he sees and feels must be different.
