One of the costly and quite important purchases associated with the birth of a child is the purchase of a stroller. However, before you start to waste money, you need to choose a stroller, but it is quite difficult.
In this record (yes, as in all the others, in principle) I describe my experience. He is not the only true, he is just mine. I clarify in order to avoid disputes and attempts to convince each other. Well, we generally already skated its 🙂
Comfortable, with good shock absorbers, smooth running, reliable, can be used from birth to 3-4 years. Typically, the kit includes a cradle-carrying, sometimes also a car seat. We were given this at the birth of the eldest daughter, the company Geoby.
Insanely expensive for us then, but also … insanely heavy – 16 or 18 kg. This determined her fate, she left the house twice. We live on the fourth floor without an elevator, both times the stroller was being dragged by my husband, cursing terribly, the third time he flatly refused to cry.
However, at home she really came in handy to me, thankfully, the three-room apartment allowed it. I rocked the children in her, they lay and sat in the carriage with me in the kitchen when I was cooking dinner. It is very convenient that the child is always nearby, and at any time you can roll it to any part of the apartment.
There were two of them – for the daughter and for the son.
I made a mistake with my daughter – I bought it with only two positions of the back, the company Mir childhood, so if she fell asleep, she had to roll the carriage on the rear wheels, lifting the front ones. But she was light, 5 kg., And I myself could lower and lift her home. Minus – plastic wheels and the lack of shock absorbers, very shaking worked.
For the son, the carriage was chosen by the firm Jetem, with three positions, the maximum – 170 degrees, he rode on it, starting from 1 month. Plus – weight 8 kg., I could lower and lift myself, minus – again plastic wheels, but the baby fell asleep very quickly, due to shaking.
I considered the option of buying a three-wheeled carriage, but my husband dissuaded him, saying that it was unstable, and with our tall curbs and lack of ramps, unexpected pits and abandoned cobbles on the road, the risk of throwing the child onto the roadway was high.
Ride her now. I wanted to take the lightest with a rag seat, but having looked on the street, as the kids sit on this seat, crouching, she took on heavier, but with a solid frame back, the firm HappyBaby. Bicycle lock, always fastened to the stroller makes us supermobile.
In general, the choice of the stroller depends on many factors, my initial conditions were: the need to raise and lower the stroller with a child to the fourth floor without an elevator twice a day and a limited choice in the shops of our city.
But each of our strollers was good in its own way, all of the models listed were very strong, and quickly found their new owners in the online flea market.
