As soon as our son grew up and learned to sit on his own, I began to get accustomed to the chairs for feeding. Before, I fed, sitting my son in a chaise lounge. However, for a 7-month-old baby, this method was no longer suitable. Son and strove to turn it over. And I realized that we grew out of a chaise lounge.
I began to study the information on the sites, read reviews on mother blogs. Thanks to the Internet, I learned a lot about this piece of children’s furniture.
Chairs are different
It turns out that chairs for feeding a child are different. Did you know that? I found out that the difference is not only in the material from which the chair is made, but also in the design itself.
Now I will tell you what options I considered. The first I caught my eye and liked the chair-transformer. I immediately thought it was very convenient!
After all, initially this chair I will use only for feeding. Well, it’s somewhere up to 1 year or, maximum, up to 1.5 years. What’s next? We will not throw him out. Of course not! Then we collect the chair-transformer otherwise.
His bottom part is disassembled and turns into a table-desk. And the upper part, which I really liked, can also be converted into a comfortable child seat. That’s what technology has come to – beauty!
Lightweight model – booster
I also learned what booster is. Especially for you I will tell – this is such a lightweight version of a highchair for feeding. I have been considering for a long time what it consists of – there are straps-fasteners that join an adult chair.
It seemed to me not entirely reliable. Or the chair to which we will mount this booster should be screwed to the floor 🙂 Our movable kid will not sit in such a design. But I noted that it is convenient to take it with me to my parents or to visit – it easily folds. And there is a removable tabletop to it – maybe it will be convenient for someone too.
Standard or innovation?
As soon as I found out, I told my husband. I must say that the husband was originally not to overpay and buy an ordinary highchair.
But when I told him about the transformer chair, which can be used up to 5 years, he changed his mind.
In the end, we chose this transformer in the online store. It was delivered to us disassembled. My husband had 3 fun nights – he played Do it yourself 🙂
The chair was successfully assembled, and now it has become much more convenient to feed the child. And our little son likes him!
And what was your highchair? How did you choose him?
